Speaker Johnson is right to kill that half measure. Democrats in the Senate are trying to keep the border wide open by starving ICE and Border Patrol of funding while pretending to solve the shutdown they helped create. This isnt about government operations its about protecting illegal crossings and sanctuary policies that flood American cities with crime and welfare costs. No more blank checks for agencies that refuse to enforce the law. Shut it down until real border security is funded or let the American people see who truly owns this chaos.

If you had reading comprehension, you would know this exonerates her. There is a concerted effort by republican lobbying firms to pack the board to privatize the utility. Cavey was actually PREVENTING that.

Today, we cut the ribbon on the new Stockton Street Bridge. It’s part of the McCoys Creek Restoration Project, one of Jacksonville’s most significant infrastructure investments that is deepening the channel, rebuilding the floodplain, and connecting it to the St. Johns River.
