BREAKING: Tanzania has confirmed the death of President John Magufuli, who had not been seen in public for more than two weeks.

Tanzania's President John Pombe Magufuli has died, aged 61. The Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan confirmed his death in a statement issued live on TV. She said that Mr Magufuli died on Wednesday at 6pm from heart complication, at a hospital in Dar es Salaam.
