Statement from the legal team of ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan: "An independent panel of three top judges reviewed all the evidence and unanimously found NO misconduct or wrongdoing by the Prosecutor. But now there are reports that some countries in the Bureau want to ignore this clear decision and replace it with their own political opinion. This is worrying. It looks like politics is trying to override the law at the ICC. " Full statement attached. #ICC #JusticeNotPolitics"

@NationwideRadio @JFJustice as usual over reaching and seeking relevance. What is the purpose of the JFJ? How does the NaRRA bill impacts judicial matters for Jamaicans? What is the injustice with the PM appointing a CEO? Unnuh fi guhwey.

Canadian #ICC Judge Kimberly Prost, sanctioned by the US for authorising the Afghanistan war crimes investigation (including alleged US troop involvement), says she never reconsidered her work at the Court: 'Absolutely not. Never for a moment.' Despite credit cards cancelled, Amazon shut down, and booking chaos — she's resolute: 'I believe so much in the mission of this court.' rte.ie/news/2026/0329… @IntlCrimCourt @StateDept #InternationalJustice

Kenya’s Foreign Affairs @MusaliaMudavadi previously stated that 252 Kenyans had been identified in relation to this issue, a figure significantly lower than what this list appears to suggest. That gap raises further questions about tracking, reporting, and what exactly constitutes “involvement.”

Today, Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War released a list of alleged Kenyan nationals fighting for Russian forces. The list runs into the hundreds—lending weight to earlier assessments, including Kenya’s NIS estimate of about 1,000 recruits. However, discrepancies are evident, some names appear multiple times with different dates of birth, and the information remains difficult to independently verify. @MusaliaMudavadi @SingoeiAKorir @rigathi @OkiyaOmtatah @bonifacemwangi @thekhrc @AmnestyKenya @VOCALAfrica_ @husskhalid @NationAfrica @StandardKenya @_kemboi @ForeignOfficeKE

For over a year, the @IntlCrimCourt has been investigating sexual misconduct allegations against its chief prosecutor, @KarimKhanQC. A judges’ review is now out, and the findings are split. A #UN investigation found evidence of “non-consensual sexual contact.” But judges said it did not meet the legal threshold for misconduct, citing gaps and unresolved inconsistencies via @nytimes

🌙✨ Eid Mubarak As we mark the end of Ramadan, we join Muslim communities in celebrating Eid al-Fitr — a time of reflection, compassion, and renewal. Eid reminds us of the values that also guide our work: justice, dignity, and care for one another. At a time when many families continue to seek truth, accountability, and healing, these values matter more than ever. May this day bring peace to homes, strength to communities, and hope to those still waiting for justice. 🕊️ Eid Mubarak. #EidMubarak #JFJUpdates #HumanRights

Today, Bibiana Waithaka spoke before the European Parliament. She told the story of her son, recruited, taken far from home, and lost in a Russian war he did not choose. Not a soldier by calling, but a young man whose life was pulled into something beyond him. She spoke as a mother, carrying a loss no words can fully hold. #JFJUpdates @OpenSociety @Europarl_EN @EP_HumanRights @ForeignOfficeKE @hrw @thekhrc @AmnestyKenya @_AfricanUnion @AUC_PAPS @AfricanUnionUN

The government said the operation by the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces (SSPDF) was aimed at flushing out armed opposition groups that have recently expanded their control in parts of Jonglei, particularly forces linked to the South Sudan United Movement (SSUM) and breakaway factions of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-In Opposition (SPLA-IO), which Juba has accused of attacking military positions and disrupting civilian movement. jfjustice.net/new-military-o…

“People walked beside death as if it had become part of the journey. On the road from El Geneina to the border, I saw many bodies lying along the way, silent witnesses to those who could not complete the journey. “I saw mothers carrying one child while leaving another stumbling behind them because they did not have the strength to carry both,” said a journalist describing the horrors of the most recent war in #Sudan. Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola has been elected President of the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone (RSCSL). RSCSL is a UN-backed international tribunal that was established to wrap up war crimes cases from the 1991-2002 #civilwar. Lenaola has served as a judge there since 2013 (was Vice President) and was elected President yesterday (Feb 27) for a 2-year renewable term at the Hague plenary. International courts routinely draw judges from across nations based on expertise. #RSCSL #IRMCT @IntlCrimCourt @Kenyajudiciary @CIJ_ICJ #SierraLeone
