Hi @Keir_Starmer , when will we ever find out as to why YOUR Labour Party suspended Nick Brown ?

Coire Glas will double the UK’s energy storage capacity at a stroke, holding 45 gigawatt hours, enough power to supply almost five million homes for 30 hours.

This is Walker Smith.
After dedicating 17 years to Waitrose, he was recently dismissed.
The reason? For attempting to stop a shoplifter nicking Easter eggs.
Yes you read that right. He should be applauded, not sacked.
Shameful @waitrose. Re-employ Walker Smith!

@afneil Why bother talking to this clueless empty suit? Tris Osbourne is a joke of a politician nevermind minister.
English

So please tell me how you will make it happen, estimated costs — and when will it happen?
Tris Osborne MP@TrisOsborneMP
@afneil It’s a statement of future intent.
English

@danielbarkeley @afneil Oh but its OK for Chinese people to have those jobs? Are you racist?
English

@WatsonNeil3 @afneil No...are you that sort that wants to return to the 19th century when coal mining was the only job outside farming a man could find?
English

Wow that’s it. After spending tens of billions on renewables and running down our energy intensive heavy industries, some to zero?
Daniel Barkeley@danielbarkeley
@afneil It's already happening.
English

@danielbarkeley @afneil Are you are the type of heartless ghoul that laughs at miners, shipyard workers, steelmen, etc etc losing their homes when they cant pay their mortage?
English

@afneil Maybe the timescale of the previous chart is confusing you.
10% in ten years is impressive. And the tech is getting better. It'll be 20% next decade, and 40% the decade after.
And don't blame Green Energy for Brexit and the Conservatives shit industrial policy.

All that’s impressive is that your energy policies — supported by all major parties — have decimated our energy-intensive industries, thanks to giving us the most expensive industrial energy costs in the world. Well done. Quite an achievement.

@sarah__british @SimonDanczuk Labour is the only major political party with an ideology that favours improvement in the living standards of the less well off. They inherited economic chaos that has been made worse by Putin’s war and by Trump and Netanyahu. Give them time.
English

Yes. UK will have to pay to be part of EU single market for some products. But reset deal with EU estimated to boost economy by £9 billion a year..several times more than any cost. Real win would be rejoining whole single market - at least £90 billion.
