@AirCanada It’s disappointing that there has been no response yet regarding my serious travel issue. Due to misinformation and handling at Pearson Airport, I faced denied boarding, extra expenses, and major disruption to my trip. Please address this urgently.

What made it worse: Staff wasted 70–80 mins without resolution Didn’t resolve issue of check in Had to buy last-minute alternate tickets for ~$1800 Manager and staff were insensitive and dismissive throughout Ironically, another airline allowed to travel without any issue.

@AirCanada Extremely disappointed with the experience I had with Air Canada at Toronto Pearson on May 14. I was denied boarding over a passport validity interpretation despite having valid visas, Canadian PR, and even confirming eligibility with customer service before booking.

India's batters just didn't score enough runs to challenge Australia and so 3-1 is a fair result. Lots of issues to resolve. The form of the senior batters, the over-reliance on Bumrah......

The reaction when India saved follow-on will only be understood by a generation which grew up on following Test #cricket, the new generation brought up on a diet of T20s will never understand the joy of avoiding follow-on or earning a hard-fought draw #cricket #AUSvINDIA #AUSvIND

🚨 First patient declared ‘cancer-free’ using indigenous CAR-T cell therapy developed by Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. It costs 42 lakhs compared to 4 cr overseas. “While it’s premature to claim a lifelong cure, the patient is currently free of cancer cells,” say doctors.

A guest from Mumbai visited Chandigarh, and the first thing they wanted to see was the Rock Garden. However, they were dismayed to see that stagnant water, filled with plastic bottles and wrappers, was marring its beauty and that not even a single patch of water had been cleaned. @MCChandigarh @ssputchandigarh @AwesomeChd @thetribunechd

@lufthansa @misty_verma Hi, We booked a multi city flight via expedia that has Air Canada & Lufthansa flights. The ticket issuer seems to be AC. As per AC's guidelines, we have entered the correct first name in first name, and LNU in the last name. Will that be an issue for the Lufthansa flight?

@misty_verma When you book your ticket online, fill in your surname as in your passport and in the field of your first given name the title "Mrs". The authorities will identify you with your last name and birth date. /Ron

The first time I met you in the Indian dressing room, you were pranked by other teammates into touching my feet. I couldn’t stop laughing that day. But soon, you touched my heart with your passion and skill. I am so happy that that young boy has grown into a ‘Virat’ player. I couldn’t be happier that an Indian broke my record. And to do it on the biggest stage - in the World Cup Semi-final - and at my home ground is the icing on the cake. #INDvNZ

I suspect it is time to explain "Umpire's Call" again. After the ball strikes the pad, what you see is a projection of where the ball might have been, it isn't the actual ball because that has met an obstruction. If more than 50% of the ball is projected to hit the stumps, you can be 100% sure it will. But if less than 50% of the ball is projected to hit the stumps, the current accuracy levels cannot state with 100% certainty that the ball would have hit the stumps. Hence, you go back to the Umpire's original decision because you cannot be certain enough to overturn his call. It is a very good and fair method. As cameras get better and the projected path more certain, we could reach a day when you can be certain that even if the projected path shows a ball merely clipping the stumps, it would in reality have hit them.

Rahul Dravid takes ICC to cleaners for rating Ahmedabad and Chennai wickets as ‘average.’ “I would respectfully disagree with the average ratings of the two wickets by the ICC because I think they were good wickets. If you only want to see 4s-6s being hit, then you have T20s for it. One day cricket demands skills. You need skills to bat and bowl. “We played t20 World Cup in Australia, In Perth we played against South Africa, 130-odd runs we scored don’t remember what was the rating given to that wicket.”
