We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition. History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress. Lmao I’ll never forget May 2020. I was on my way to Iyana Ipaja to buy new palm. All of a sudden, a danfo crossed my bike. I’m sure the bike man works with the policemen. I was not worried at all because I don’t have any business with them. Suddenly, I saw men come down with guns. Immediately, I thought I was being kidnapped. I was dragged from the bike to the danfo. While being dragged, I was calling those looking at me for help, that I am innocent, I didn’t do anything. Guys, they were just looking at me. Long story short, I was taken to the police station. When I wanted to write my statement, they called a woman to write it for me, saying I was part of the cultism clash that happened the day before. I told them no, I know how to write. Damn, the kind of punch that man gave me on my eye, I still feel it till today. After a while of arguing with them, they took me to a cell at the back of their police station. I spent hours there and was beaten by the thugs I met there. After some hours, I was discharged by my uncle that I called during the time I was inside the bus. POLICE IS NEVER YOUR FRIEND

Lagos will humble you, no jokes. I was jobless for 4 months. Rent was close. Account balance was just there… like ₦200k. Then I saw a job asking for 2–3 years experience in something I barely knew. I said… we move. Crammed small things online, entered the interview with full confidence. Next thing… I got the job Now it’s 3 weeks in… Every day na survival mode. Google, YouTube, ChatGPT… na my real colleagues. The funny part? My boss is praising me 😂 At this point… I don’t even know if I’m faking it… or I’m actually getting good.
