@zapatas_mom In the US, it isn't a thing one way or the other. Our city culture hasn't matured like in Europe. Neighborhoods get old and turn to dangerous ghettos. Public transportation to work spaces is rare. Walking means stepping over needles, human waste and the unhomed - very odorous.
