Oddly, I don’t have a problem with this. SNAP gives an allotted amount based on family size. If a single person receives a max of $298/month, that’s all he gets. Either make choices wisely, or not. He’s not getting anything extra because he made unwise choices and bought a steak. Sometimes people need to learn life lessons the hard way. I think we need to put more focus on the fraud and getting people off the system rather than deciding what they can eat with their money. Just my opinion.
