Exactly the kind of single-point-of-failure disaster we posted this morning ! Sweden’s BankID is the textbook example of centralized digital identity: convenient on the surface, but when a contractor gets breached, millions of people’s logins, tax data and bank access are suddenly exposed. This is why pushing entire populations into a digital ID infrastructure is just dangerous. One breach = national-scale risk. User choice and decentralized/self-sovereign alternatives aren’t just nice-to-have, they are essential!!!

Don't build systems that promise not to surveil. Build systems that can't surveil.

This actually protects children and empowers the parents to say what is and isn't good for their kids. We need these kinds of solutions instead of Orwellian age verification. Let the parents choose.

I'm getting close to applying for free signing service for Flowsta's open source Holochain desktop apps. The multi-device identity problem in Holochain hApps just got a clean fix. @WeAreFlowsta open-sourced a drop-in zome that links multiple agent keys to a single person. Install an hApp on your phone and laptop and you show up as one identity, not two strangers.

Every time you use SSO (sign on with Google, or Facebook, or Github, etc) you are giving a bunch of your prove at information to the web site. Do we even know what is being shared? Start to demand privacy log in with Flowsta. Built with @Holochain
