- The Congo "genocide" didn't happen. @johannesmkx - Virtually all races of humans have engaged in conquest, genocide, and slavery. Including African tribes. Europeans simply did this better than the others, and they left Africa (1950s-1960s African independence movements) AND left behind the infrastructure as well. - Africa is *marginally* better after European colonization compared to if Europe would have left it alone, as the tribes would have surely died from starvation, disease, wild animal attacks, or killed by rival tribes (Africa's entire population only numbered 100 million in 1900)
