Watering when it reaches about 40%. I have drowned my plants with 100% before so I know the importance of a dryback. Your edit was also 🔥. This is a fun and educational video. The cat pee smell in cannabis is not because your plant got disrespected by a stray animal O_O It’s trace aroma chemistry being violently specific Cannabis smell is not only terpenes. Terpenes are the big obvious players, but some of the nastiest, loudest smells come from tiny non terpene compounds that show up in ridiculously small amounts and still bully the whole room o_o That “cat piss” sharpness is likely coming from a mix of volatile sulfur compounds, Thiols, green terpenes, and other trace flavorants stacked together in just the wrong beautiful way. Myrcene brings that musky, earthy body Pinene and terpinolene can add that sharp green edge O_o Then sulfur compounds walk in wearing steel toe boots and suddenly your flower smells like a skunk broke into a gas station bathroom and started doing chemistry with Walter white... :D The insane part is your nose can detect some sulfur compounds at absurdly low concentrations. Like “why can I smell this molecule from across the room when there are only twelve of them?” levels of low. Sulfur chemistry does not need volume. It needs audacity. Actual cat urine smell also involves sulfur containing compounds. Just gotta sprinkle some water around occasionally. With “water only” I let my plants use up what is in the soil for the first half of flower and then use nutrients stored in the leaves for the second half to finish.

I've been praying the past few weeks. Unsure why. There's good evidence behind prayer. It mimics breathwork, calming the nervous system, dropping cortisol, and quieting the brain. Daily prayers show lower depression, anxiety, and pain. I'd like to develop a prayer practice. Growing up, the protocol was written for me. Explaining whom to pray to, the structure of the prayer, and the boundary conditions. I don't really know how to pray now.

Just watched a video of a guy literally living underneath Hollywood Boulevard in a hole under the street… 🤯 My first thought was, we’re one step away from Demolition Man becoming a documentary. What’s wild is that movie used the underground people as satire. The “undesirables” pushed beneath a polished futuristic society while everyone above ground pretended everything was perfect. Now look around. Luxury towers. Filtered realities. Endless entertainment, and underneath at all… people disappearing into tunnels beneath the city. Sometimes the craziest part about old movies isn’t the fiction. It’s realizing they saw the direction we were headed long before we did. What movie prediction feels a little too real now?

Most of the time, growers use products without thinking much deeper than “someone recommended it, so it must be good.” And sometimes that works. But sometimes it’s just bro science in action O_O When I started making videos, I was forced to actually understand what I was adding and why. Kelp extract. Silica. Enzymes. Microbes. Nutrients. Not just “this helps plants.” How? What pathway? What process am I trying to influence? That changed how I see growing. Now I don’t want to add products just because they sound good. I want to understand the function. Silica isn’t magic. It’s structure and stress support. Kelp isn’t fairy juice. It’s hormone signaling and plant response. Everything you add should have a reason. Growing gets way more interesting when you stop chasing bottles… At least for me O_O But like I’ve always said… There’s more than one way to skin a cat, so keep experimenting! Keep on Growing O_O

This is the fastest germination rate I’ve gotten so far… I think I’m onto something 👀✌️ I took screenshots from my Wyze cameras so you can see the time code. I’m not lying O_O This is nuts 😂 If I’m right, I may have modified my regime to run at least 15% faster. And honestly, I think it came from all the posts, diagrams, and topics I’ve been working through this week. It sounds funny, but making educational content is like studying. And the more I studied, the more old ideas started coming back. I went through my old notes from before the whole Novacotton thing and found experiments I wanted to try back when I was still too inexperienced to know what I was looking at. This time, I understood the “why.” That changed everything. I really recommend keeping a waterproof grow notebook. I use Gak O_O Not some random note in your phone that disappears into the void. A real notebook. Write down what you did, when you did it, and what happened. Because eventually, those random observations turn into a system. In This run, I changed the seedling zone. Instead of one uniform medium, I made a small nucleus of 100% coco around the seed so it stays evenly moist with fewer waterings. Then the outer shell is Mother Earth 70/30 coco perlite so the rest of the pot still drains properly. Moist center. Fast draining outside. A little seedling habitat inside a bigger root zone. I restarted this run more than eight times… but that’s because I promised myself I wasn’t going to keep accepting weak results just because I was tired. No more ass runs. Only lessons. Keep on Growing O_O

People see 3 finger leaves on my plants and scream “REVEG!!” What are some other reasons plants throw out 3 fingers??
