BREAKING: An Iranian missile struck Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia today, injuring 10 US service members — two of them very seriously. Several US refueling aircraft were also damaged in the attack. This marks the second major hit on the base amid the ongoing US-Iran conflict (Operation Epic Fury). Prayers for the wounded troops and their families. #PrinceSultan #Iran #USMilitary

Dear @ComicDaveSmith, I'll engage with you here because you were apparently very upset on your most recent appearance on @joerogan's podcast. I don't engage with your positions because in a world of fixed resources, one does not have the time to engage with everyone in possession of an opinion. You've managed to catapult yourself onto the conversation; more power to you. Quantum physicists should not bother with my opinion on the topic since I readily admit that I'm hardly an expert in that field; I dare venture that my knowledge of quantum physics (very little) is orders of magnitude higher than your "knowledge" of Israel and the Middle East. I have epistemological humility; you possess none. Cheers.

The Senate GOP has exactly two options if it wants to avoid drifting into irrelevance and a stunning loss in November: (1) Keep the filibuster and 60-vote cloture rule fully intact, but stand ready to overcome Senate Democrats’ unprecedented pattern of obstruction by aggressively enforcing the “talking filibuster”—a move that would require senators to work longer, harder hours and take fewer recesses, but lead to more thoughtful, careful deliberation in the legislative process, OR (2) Nuke the filibuster. I strongly prefer the first option. But we must choose either one or the other—because the status quo isn’t working and the resulting inertia isn’t just making it impossible to pursue a coherent agenda; it’s hurting the American people. What’s your preference?

“THANK YOU, AMERICA” An Iranian attendee @CPAC tells @DaveZere his family is still in Iran and says the Iranian people want the regime to fall and believe freedom is closer than ever. A powerful moment from the CPAC floor.

Under no circumstances should these two real estate con artists be allowed to negotiate with Iran on behalf of the United States. They are clearly working on behalf of a foreign country, and permitting them to do so should be considered treason.

🚨 HOLY CRAP. Israeli-American Billionaire Miriam Adelson on Netanyahu: “If this comes out I’M DEAD” 👀 When discussing her relationship with Netanyahu during the investigations into Netanyahu, she was asked what the nature of her relationship with him was. Her response was chilling… Miriam: “What can I say? If this comes out I’M DEAD” This is never before seen footage from the investigations into Netanyahu, dubbed “The Bibi Files” documentary released by Tucker Carlson. Additionally, Sheldon Adelson says Netanyahu would ask him to get him expensive boxes of cigars. Narrator: “Netanyahu, he keeps around him almost in every part of the world someone like a sugar daddy…” Clip rumble.com/v77pi6a-billio… The Bibi Files tuckercarlson.com/the-bibi-files…

I’m pissed! Trump gave Iran a pause on strikes against their energy infrastructure until April 6. So what did Israel do?

They bombed all three of Iran’s largest steel plants simultaneously, which are crucial to their economy And if that wasn’t enough, they also struck Iran’s Khondab heavy-water reactor facility as well as uranium production and uranium-conversion sites All on the same day Why did Israel do this? And was it in coordination with the U.S.? If it’s in coordination, it means Trump lied to Iran. If not, than Israel is lying. If you take into account the report today that JD Vance yelled at Netanyahu over the phone this week, upset at being dragged into the war by misleading intelligence, then I think you have your answer Israel seems to be trying to sabotage these negotiations, and it serves their interests to do so.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

UPDATE: I’m really struggling to call what happens next On one hand, Trump needs an off-ramp to limit the global economic damage and growing domestic political pressure Iran would also like this war to end before more cities are leveled and more leaders are killed On the other hand, Iran is doing surprisingly well controlling the Strait, striking the Gulf and Israel, and selling oil for more than twice the price than before the war, making a killing And on the American side, troops are heading to the region for what increasingly looks like a ground operation to control Hormuz Negotiations are the most promising development since February 28th. But Iran's warnings to Gulf nations against supporting any ground operation, combined with maximalist demands from both sides, make a deal unlikely in the short term

@MarioNawfal Mario. The only play where Billions of People arent at risk of dying. Is for Trump to pull out & essentially sacrifice Israel. We are at the point of no return. & in no play does Israel not get destroyed. Difference being, Billions of people have a better chance at survival.

UPDATE: It's starting to seem that IRGC factions within Iran are keen to keep the war going and seek revenge Yesterday we had reports that the unrealistic demand of removing U.S. bases from the region was no longer on the table, but today it seems it's back Why? 1. Iran is selling more oil than before the war, and at a higher price. So they are making more money now versus before 2. They feel they have the upper hand, and rightly so: They control the Strait of Hormuz, Gulf nations are suffering economically, and Israel is getting bombed daily. The global economy is also getting hit hard 3. We've killed their Supreme Leader with his family, and bombed the hell out of their country, in a war started in the middle of negotiations. How would you expect them to feel? Is a deal still possible? Yes. If pragmatism beats ideology and vengeance.

Fox confirms that the House Republican leadership is proposing a two-month, clean extension of all funding for DHS, including ICE. This is NOT what all 100 senators agreed to last night. If the House were to adopt this plan, they’d have to do it with GOP votes. Many House Democrats – who were warm to the Senate plan – would balk.   If the House were to pass this, the measure would have to return to the Senate to align to end the shutdown. Such a scenario would then compel Senate Democrats to come back to object to a unanimous consent request to blow up THAT iteration of funding and put the onus on them for keeping the shutdown going.   But things are very fluid right now
