Same with my family I grew up calling my elder sister her name cos she never liked us calling her aunty ,sister or even adanne And then when I had grown up,she said we should start calling her aunty,it was so difficult that I had to stop calling her name entirely,

I used to have a favorite cousin. We grew up together and she’s just a year older than me. We did everything together as kids, played, molded clay houses, called each other by our names. We were so close and practically inseparable. There was even a time we had to go stay at our grandparents’ place together because of how attached we were. We never had issues until I got admission into the university while she was in a polytechnic. That was when her mum started acting funny towards me, and it got to a point where I stopped going to their house. Then one day, out of nowhere, her mum asked my age in front of my mum. My mum answered, and she tried to argue it. My mum got upset and asked if she was the one who gave birth to me. That was when she said, “Even if that’s the case, Bola is still older than Derin, so she shouldn’t be calling her by name again. She has to start adding ‘Aunty.’” That was where everything changed. My cousin too started acting different and began insisting I call her “Aunty Bola.” My mum told me to just do it for peace, but I refused. She told her younger sister who I’m 8 years older than to start calling me by my name if I wouldn’t call her “aunty.” I didn’t even argue, I accepted it. Since 2019, things have never been the same. Our relationship turned sour, and till today I still refused to give anyone of them a chance to speak to me again, the parents inclusive.

Not that I cant but I didn't just grow up with it,I tried but its not working Till today,we're not that cool with eachother cos she feels its pride on my end but its just hard Not my fault but you don't just wake up and add aunty to someone's name.

Tribalism Will Be the End of Nigeria How can a people hate themselves this much? We share the same skin colour, yet we treat one another with contempt. We loudly condemn racism abroad, but we despise our own kind here at home. You can't just scroll through your timeline without escaping the tribal mess. Yoruba and Igbo accounts are constantly at each other’s throats, trading insults and fuelling division. I understand that Nigeria was never meant to be one country in the first place. Even so, we must confront our immediate crises before amicably separating.

Why is Gov Amunike always wearing agbada in his skits? Why does Aproko Doctor talk against agbo yet never address fake drinks from his people? Why do they ignore Tony Elumelu’s travels but criticize Femi Otedola? It all seems intentional, protect your own, attack others.

You can’t use my daughter as an example in this scenario, because my daughter is the granddaughter of my father, who was Ochanya to Winifred’s father again? I just told you I can’t testify against my father. The best way lawyers get hostile witnesses to give evidence is through cross-examination. Most witnesses in crimes don’t always come forth to testify if they know their testimony would be detrimental to them.
👑K I N G👑@kingsuleiman27

I hope your answer will still be YES and you will never testify against your father or siblings if any of them rape your 8 year old daughter to death?

As of now. The core feministss still maintain their stance, and what is their stance ? They believe Winifred should be reinstated and that the Ochanya rapè case is not as serious as it should be taken. They believe winifred has nothing to do with it, and since the matter isn't taken seriously from the government, then users on here shouldn't take it seriously. This issue has bridged core misandristss , feminists and the actual normal females who believe that there should be justice. I stated yesterday that this issue will divide the set of girls on this app, which will cause total divisiòn. One of the leaders of the core feminìst stated in their group that winifred is a core member and a true friend of theirs and they can't allow her to go down like that. Would be a long 2 weeks thoo
Danny Of Owerri🇳🇬🇺🇸🇳🇬@DrDanny2030

As of now, the women on Twitter have been dividèd. The core feminists groups said they would back winifred up and that the rape case isn't as serious as it should be cos winifred wasn't involved. They believe this is not a time to talk about a rape case, but to protect winifred. The other group of women, some who are ordinary and those who are not core femìnists, believe that winifred has for long shielded her family and stopped Ochanya from getting justice. They believe she's aware of everything and will forever back her family. This will be toughh.
