BREAKING: Mike Pence snaps at CNN host Dana Bash in front of millions of live viewers after she confronts him for declaring that Trump shouldn’t be prosecuted for inciting the January 6 insurrection even though Trumpers chanted “hang Mike Pence!” It all started when Pence began to make the case that Trump shouldn’t be prosecuted. At this point, Bash cut him off, telling Pence, “That is pretty remarkable that you're not concerned about it, given the fact that they wanted to hang you on January 6.” A visibly flustered Pence snapped at her, saying, “Well, Dana, now wait a minute! I want to say there has been an effort to take those that perpetrated violence on January 6 and use a broad brush to describe everyone in our movement."

"No, I didn't mean to do that," the CNN host protested. Then, Pence pulled out all the stops to defend his extremist Republican Party and its unhinged supporters, declaring that “The people in our movement, the people who rallied behind our cause in 2016 and 2020 are the most god-fearing, law-abiding and patriotic people in this country and I just -- I won't stand for this kind of generalizations and they have no basis in fact.” Sorry, Pence… but it is a FACT that the vast majority of Republicans STILL believe Trump’s Big Lie and support and defend the dangerous insurrectionists who brought gallows to the Capitol and stormed the building while chanting “hang Mike Pence.” It’s truly pathetic to see him continue to whitewash the events of that deplorable day — and defend a party that defends dangerous insurrectionists to this very day.
