I've been working on Top 10 v4.2 for several months and I'm pleased to say that it is finally live! This release focuses on safer setup, clearer validation, and better multisite visibility — without changing the core tracking model. What’s new: • A guided Settings Wizard to help new installs reach a stable baseline and existing sites re-validate long-running configurations. • A network-wide dashboard for multisite, showing aggregated popular-post statistics across sites. • High-Traffic tracking mode with configuration validation, designed for predictable behaviour under load. • The ability to copy settings across multisite installs, making standardisation easier. • A compact “Top 10 Views Overview” dashboard widget with click-through filtering. • Additional controls for Admin Bar visibility and data retention overrides. The goal of 4.2.0 is not more features for the sake of it, but fewer surprises over time — especially on busy or multisite WordPress installs.
