This nails it. The Right's rediscovery of Richard Nixon is not about particular policies—some good, some bad—but about the aesthetic, the attitude, and the narrative of the self-made man who won 49 states on behalf of the Silent Majority, and was taken down in a Deep State coup.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

The kids are “Nixonmaxxing.” More than half a century after Watergate, conservative youth are discovering the aesthetic, and adopting the attitude, of the late Richard Nixon. on.wsj.com/4wdu6CY

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Sen. Mike Lee just RIPPED senators for blocking the SAVE America Act from passage, say they likely benefit from CHEATING "Perhaps some of those opposed to this might be afraid of what happens if they can't rely on non-citizen votes!" "WHAT'S THE HOLD UP? It's CERTAINLY not the American voter." "Because the American voter, by a margin of like three out of four or four out of five depending on which poll you look at, believes that it's important that people who show up to vote ought to have to prove who they are, and they ought to at the time they register to vote to have to establish their citizenship and thus their eligibility to vote in their first place!" "We're talking about 75 to 80, some as high as 85% depending on which poll you look at. Those are Democrat voters and Republican voters alike, all agreeing that this is a problem. It's a problem that Congress can and should fix." "So what is the hold up? Well, it's hard to say what the hold up is, but I can summarize it this way. It's Senate Democrats!" "The SAVE America Act is popular, literally everywhere in the United States of America, except in this chamber, and except among Democrats in this chamber!" "Everywhere else, it's a no-brainer. Everywhere else, it's popular. It's only here that they don't want to pass it."

Discarded wind turbine blades equal to the volume of 215,000 steel locomotives will need to be recycled, incinerated or sent to landfill sites by 2050. This crisis is no longer a distant possibility set somewhere in the future. It's already happening, and a massive wave of early-generation turbines is reaching its end-of-life. By then, there will be 1.3 million decommissioned turbine blades weighing as much as 43 million tons. These blades are made of high-strength composite material designed to survive decades of brutal weather, and are notoriously difficult to recycle. They were built to last, but they weren't built to disappear into thin air. The European wind industry has already enacted a landfill ban on decommissioned blades from January 1, 2026. Panic is spreading about where to put them — because a blade recycling infrastructure doesn't exist yet. There is a growing repugnance at the thought of creating endless turbine blade graveyards despoiling our fields and hillsides. In France, at least 55% of a rotor blade’s mass must be recycled or reused, effective since January 2025. While European industry groups have pushed for a blade landfill ban, the reality is that recycling these polymers costs up to $2,000 per ton — compared to just $60 to dump them in landfills. The infrastructure simply doesn't exist to handle the volume. Without a cost-effective, workable way to recycle fibre-reinforced polymers, the majority of them are destined for blade graveyards somewhere. Or they will have to be stockpiled indefinitely everywhere blade landfilling has been banned. China, Europe, and the US will account for the vast majority of this waste, creating a mountainous industrial heartache that many Net Zero models simply haven't priced in. Or has anyone even thought about it yet?

Rubio just put out a report that ties the launch of Obama, and the mainstreaming of Marxist politics, to that propagated by the Cuban regime—highlighting how he was recruited by the founders of domestic terror group Weather Underground, which aimed to overthrow the US government.

JOBZILLA Taking the plunge this morning. Thought on this and realized I have done this 3 months ago, what am I waiting on to post. I was all in on with Aric Nesbit – great guy! I look forward to his next career adventure. @aricnesbitt has a great resume to keep adding to. Keep your eye on Aric. Aric is Michigan’s future. Back to topic. I am for whatever it is worth coming from me endorsing Perry Johnson for Governor of the great State of Michigan! We need a businessman! We need a businessman that has spent his career in project management focused on efficiency, finding waste in projects, and SPENDING. Now Perry can do this for us – we the people of Michigan. Michigan was so good under 8 years of Rick Snyder – another businessman, another Project Manager that came from the private sector and knows how to run a budget, keep a company afloat. And to simply stop wasting money! Perry is the only one hard talking waste, fraud, auditing the books of Lansing. I have met Perry, more than once now. A very sharp guy. Knows details. I brought up a side business subject to Perry of Michigan vs FL in the hospitality / hotel industry on how Florida and yes Indiana is kicking our butt in regulations and TAXES. Both FL and IN are kicking our butt the last 7 years in hotel / hospitality growth. Who would think Indiana is? They are. I know first-hand many details and millions and millions (100s) of dollars right now today being built in Indiana and not Michigan. Perry knew exactly what I was talking about and offered specifics on what Michigan needs to do to compete head on with that. @MeshawnMaddock was there. Made me think of John Engler’s one campaign theme: Make Michigan JOBZILLA When Michigan hit 15% job growth. We can do that again. Is anyone ANYONE talking job growth? 15%!! That's crazy yet we had that in the 90's under a Republican Lansing. We can do that again! Indiana is... I believe Perry Johnson can win the Governor's office. I truly do. Johnson's supporters are rabid, loyal, THEY WILL VOTE. THEY WILL VOTE. The fact that Johnson can self fund his campaign does indeed free up millions of dollars for the GOP to keep the State House and retake the State Senate. This is very important. In the Michigan Governor's race, Perry Johnson will run the State like a business. On this, because Johnson is self funding he is beholden to no one. Both sides of the aisle will have to justify spending. JOBZILLA MAKE MICHIGAN GREAT AGAIN @PJQualityGuru @PJRapidResponse @parkermaddock @matthewmaddock @ryandkelley1 @KevinRinke @KristenMeghan @katie_heid

Here's a cool map you won't find anywhere else. U.S. statewide JULY high temperature records. 40 (80% of) U.S. states set their “all-time” statewide July high temperature records before 1955; 11 of those were set in 1936 alone. Five states set theirs in 1930. California's record of 134°F in Death Valley remains the official statewide, U.S. national, and worldwide “all-time” record high temperature for all months, although its authenticity has been challenged.

Foreign communist $ is laundered through pleasantly-named NGOs to bankroll redshirt here at AFT to turn our schools into indoctrination camps & convert your children into commie street animals. This is a deliberate foreign subversion & why you don't recognize your kids anymore.

President of the California teachers union says "we need to be in the streets" to "fight back against this fascist regime." His shirt says "Solidarity is the Lesson Plan" with "May Day" showing in the book. Randi Weingarten’s teachers union convention is a political rally.

Yzerman failed to finish. That verdict stands. But if Detroit pops with Raymond, Seider, Edvinsson, Kasper, Sandin-Pellikka, Brandsegg-Nygard, Mazur, Finnie, Danielson, and the rest of that pile? The next boss lights the match. Yzerman still has fingerprints on the powder keg. Facts. #LGRW #RedWings

We need a Republican nominee who can hold Jocelyn Benson accountable for her husband profiting tens of millions from data centers in Michigan. John James cannot do it because the data center builders in Michigan are among his biggest donors. And James has already proven he cannot handle his own conflict with data center special interests. Instead of defending his record with substance, he plays the race card. Opposition to data centers is a key element of Republican victory this November, and John James is a liability at the top of our ticket.
