This is hands down my favourite #SolarFlare in recent years, an event from September 2024. The flare persisted for several hours, giving us a jaw-dropping view of ‘coronal rain’ (seen in the yellow structure) and ‘supra-arcade downflows’ (seen in the cyan structure). A beauty!

Steam version of Ikaruga has been updated to fix some graphical issues. This is truly one of the greatest games of all time. The main mechanic and how it's executed is genius. GENIUS. This is such a tremendous game. If you love the medium of video games you gotta play Ikaruga!
