@Acyn They attacked our Capitol and assaulted federal police officers. This is beyond disgusting.

Reporter: Why should taxpayers pay $1.6 billion for January sixers? Trump: It’s being very well received. I know very little about it. I wasn't involved in in the whole creation of it. This is reimbursing people who were horribly treated.

President Donald Trump is dropping his $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service, according to court documents, a signal that the administration is preparing to go forward with a plan to set up a $1.8 billion fund that would compensate those who believe they were subject to unfair investigations under previous administrations. cnn.it/4dqCwik

“WE NEED TO LET THEM DO INSIDER TRADING TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES” That was the actual argument just made in defense of politicians trading stocks. Members of Congress make $174,000 a year. The median American income is roughly $63,000. (3x less) Meanwhile the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour… also unchanged since 2009. And you’re seriously being told politicians need access to insider trading to survive. The system is designed to lead earth to neo-feudalism. And it’s becoming more brazen by the year. Asset ownership consolidates upward. Living standards decline downward. The middle class gets squeezed from both ends and disappears while the elite class accumulates more wealth, more influence, and more protection. Leaving behind a permanent underclass. And a permanent political-financial aristocracy at the top…

It is amazing how little the press is willing to dissect US decline under Trump. The US got no help with Iran, was scolded on Taiwan, says it got a small Boeing deal (China has not confirmed) and Trump appeased on Chinese students, microchips, etc. Xi even insulted US power. And yet it is being reported as a modest successful event. It was a strategic failure by the US and marks a notable moment in US decline.

At a time of war in the Middle East, the US has no ambassador in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iraq or Kuwait. At a time of war in Europe, there is no US ambassador in Russia or Ukraine. Altogether some 115 of 195 ambassador posts are vacant. @RobbieGramer wsj.com/politics/polic…

Trump: Chinese restaurants in America today outnumber the five largest fast food chains in the United States all combined. That's a pretty big statement.
