So Mike Johnson and many republicans are against banning Members of Congress from trading stocks because inflation makes their salary less valuable. Here’s an idea: if $174k a year isn’t enough for you, then resign and let someone who is willing to work the job do it. There are plenty of young people who would be willing to give up stock trading for that salary. And they would actually get stuff done. And if $174k isn’t enough for people to take care of their family, then how the hell is minimum wage?

Trump to NYT's David Sanger: "I had a total military victory. But the fake news, guys like you, write incorrectly. You're a fake guy. We had a total military victory. I actually think it's sort of treasonous what you write. You should be ashamed of yourself. I actually think it's treason."

BREAKING: The Trump DOJ is dropping federal criminal fraud charges against an Indian billionaire. The reason: He hired one of Trump’s personal lawyers. Then promised to invest $10 billion in America. The same DOJ that indicted James Comey twice over seashells. One standard for the connected. Another for everyone else.

JD Vance: "There's a lot of fraud in the federal government. It's unbelievable how much you've been fleeced by your own government."

Trump is suing the IRS, which he oversees, for $10 billion. Both sides want to settle to avoid going to court. Aside from money, one of the settlement terms is to drop all audits of himself and his family. He’s stealing $10B from taxpayers and covering up his tax crimes. You get that, right? nytimes.com/2026/05/12/bus…

President Trump said he doesn't think about Americans' financial situations as he negotiates with Iran, "not even a little bit," as he took questions from reporters before leaving for China. "The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about Americans' financial situation, I don't think about anybody," Trump said.

NEW: The cost of President Trump's plan to repair the Reflecting Pool has jumped by 88 percent, to $13.1M, gov't records show. The price appears to include a 20 percent profit margin for Trump's handpicked contractor, who got the job in a no-bid contract. nytimes.com/2026/05/11/us/…
