I am monitoring the ongoing Ngogo Chimp Civil War in Kibale National Park. Chimp Group Center appears to be on the verge of routing. They've retreated from the Primate Lodge and their Alpha Male, Morton, appears to be heavily wounded or perhaps KIA.

@faithandheresy Still have the glitch where you can use jump jets while running at full speed and hit like 128kph? Only way I could beat the nuke map.

@GravySauceCream Summer vacations to Vicksburg, Missippi in July. Hot and humid as the devils crotch. We’d get to the Holiday Inn and dad would crank that think up and by the time we got back from lunch the condensation on the windows was an inch deep. 👍

"What a shame to scrap the ship, should have been saved."
We hear that comment quite a lot. Now there is an opportunity to act.
The caretakers that have helped preserve USS Aries, the sole remaining example of the Pegasus class hydrofoils, are seeking a home for the ship. She currently resides in Missouri, but is in need of a new home, one that is more accessible.
I would like to ask our followers to share her story, get the word out, and help find Aries a new home. If you have contacts with museums or preservation groups, please pass the word on.
In addition, please follow the USS Aries website (though the Social Media pages seem to be updated more regularly) to stay up to date with the latest information and to follow her journey.

NASA pilot Victor Glover CLAPS back after being asked what it means to be the first black man to visit the moon: “It’s the story of humanity, not black history, not women’s history, but that it becomes human history.”
“I also HOPE we are pushing the other direction that one day we don’t have to talk about these first. That one day, this is just—and listen to this—that this is the human history.”

Now that April Fool’s Day is over, I will tell the actual truth. I didn’t fool anybody, anyway, because I am a terrible liar. The restoration of USS KIDD over the past few years is complete. We are now just waiting for the Mississippi River water levels to rise high enough to return the ship to her berth in Baton Rouge. When that will happen exactly, I do not know. The river is low this year and may not allow us to bring her home at all. In that case, I will have to develop a backup plan because we cannot afford to be without the ship another year.
And yes, I did direct the shipyard to paint KIDD in the MS32/10D “dazzle” camouflage pattern that KIDD wore throughout 1944. The pictures were taken the day that KIDD left drydock.
