@VinceZcrikl have you seen any Hermes skills for China / Guangzhou metro travel times. Eg I’d love to ask Hermes is it quicker to get a taxi or metro from GZ airport to my hotel. It seems to estimate the metro times.

Hermes v0.12.0 发布！ 很高兴我的 PR 也在这版里 - 新增 Dashboard Profiles 管理页 @Teknium @NousResearch 现在可以直接在 Web UI 里管理多 Agent 配置。方便入门用户更好的理解上手，这是基础版，详情见视频👇 值得一提的是， Hermes 作为编程搭子，和我一起协作完成了这个关于Hermes 自己的PR，见片尾。 我提需求，Hermes 负责 coding 和 UT， 我来验证和提修改意见，Hermes 继续迭代直到完成。 也感谢 Hermes 官方 reviewer 提出评审意见，一同完成这次PR。 主要包括： - 新增 Profiles 页面 和侧边栏入口 - 支持 创建 / 重命名 / 删除 profile - 支持 查看和编辑 SOUL.md - 新增 profile 相关 REST API 与接入 - i18n 中文支持 - 增强 profiles 列表加载的容错性 - 相关测试与构建验证 - 修复一些bugs #hermes

This is where we are right now. And i’m not gonna lie it feels pretty magical 🧚‍♀️ Qwen3.6 27B running inside of Pi coding agent via Llama.cpp on the MacBook Pro For non-trivial tasks on the @huggingface codebases, this feels very, very close to hitting the latest Opus in Claude Code, or whatever shiny monopolistic closed source API of the day is. In full airplane mode. Most people haven’t realized this yet. If you have, it means you have a huge headstart to what I call the second revolution of AI. Powerful local models for efficiency, security, privacy, sovereignty 🔥

@nathanclark_ I think there’s a big difference between creating vs consuming content or junk dopamine games. Junk food on screens or healthy food on screens is how I think of it. They get both but I prefer the healthy food.

@nathanclark_ We have some old iMacs and the kids love to play on Google docs and now Claude to build games and stuff. Before that they enjoyed Scratch coding. I also have an iPad that they get to use often. But it’s important that it’s mine, not theirs.

One for the parents: what age are people getting their kids laptops/ipads? And how are you handling time on device. Asking more about good decision making and practically managing the dynamic with the children and less “use this app to lock them out”.

So I actually cracked this today. Zapier MCP exposes a ton of Xero tools. Just told an agent to look at the last invoice sent to a client (in my email) and draft a new one based on that. Worked perfectly! Lots more it can do too.
