#ApacheFire yesterday as the fire was running Apache Canyon it ended up spotting over the canyon and made a hard run to the South East. Crews from @VCFD & @LosPadresNF tried to hold lines in extremely hot and dry conditions.

Due to a power outage, NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts from Broadcast Peak in Santa Barbara are currently off the air. This includes land (162.40) and marine (162.475) broadcasts. Warnings that require tone alerts will not be transmitted from those frequencies until power returns.

The NOAA Weather Radio in Santa Barbara has apparently been knocked out due to a power outage. This is an essential emergency system to provide the public with weather warnings as a last resort. That they do not have a backup generator in CALIFORNIA is irresponsible.
