Interesting local news regarding the proposed development at Woking Football Ground. Rejected by the Council and now rejected at appeal by the government.

Quinn Estates, the development company behind speculative plans to develop a retirement village on the Sutton Green Golf Course (green belt land) is holding a public consultation events on Thursday 16th Sep between 4-7PM. We urge all interested residents to attend.

@tjmoore Planning Officers from WBC have advised that consent is highly unlikely at this stage. It's likely that the land will be put forward for development in next local plan after Woking 2027.
