honestly i feel like the need to play SNES games at a higher fidelity has at least some potential to it IF IT WAS DONE CORRECTLY
however our only exposure to this technology are emulator filters that make the game look like cream cheese

I've seen a lot of negative responses to this but to me its a game changer with a weak first impression Higher res sprites on SNES games has huge potential, like imagine a native Mario World texture pack that looks like the 2D art or a Render96 style DKC pack. This is incredible
