@koreanjewcrypto The story of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, who calmed a man down on the train who was trying to pick fights, is an example of a superior man. He could have destroyed the angry man, but chose compassion. Of course, a man needs the capability for violence, if required.

@jonatanpallesen Yes, factory farming is cruel and should be banned, but people still need to eat meat to be healthy. I purchase organic meat that has been raised in humane conditions. I refuse to give money to factory farming. If everyone does the same we can eliminate factory farming.

Factory farming is absolutely a moral atrocity. Very obviously so. How could it be morally justifiable to cause such suffering and misery to intelligent animals like pigs in order to save a few dollars? It can’t. It is immediately and intuitively obvious to almost everyone, after seeing a factory-farmed pig and a happy free-range pig, that one situation is wrong and the other is right. I believe that the best solution to this ongoing disaster is humane, high-welfare animal farming. Most people are not going to turn vegan, and most people are not going to live off fake meat goo. One problem is that we are caught in a suboptimal equilibrium: In many settings, it is hard or even impossible for customers to get high-welfare food, for example if none of the restaurants offer it. This makes it harder for high-welfare consumption to become a normal lifestyle for ordinary people, and harder for it to spread culturally. This, in turn, means that demand is not increasing over time, so there is little incentive for restaurants to focus on high-welfare food. I do believe this can and will change. The status quo is simply too grotesque. But we need a push to break out of the current equilibrium. There needs to be an established situation in which people can get high-welfare meat in normal settings, enabling the social signals around it to permeate through the population, without it being associated only with what is seen as weirdo vegans. Some billionaire ought to fund such a project in a city, with a campaign against animal factory farming, and highlighting restaurants that do sell high welfare meat. This could potentially have enormous impact if it works.

🇮🇹€75,000 for a villa in Italy sounds wrong… until you see this. We’re talking about 385 sqm of space, in the countryside near Gubbio - one of the most authentic areas of Italy. Not an apartment. Not a small house. A full villa. • 2 levels • 5+ rooms • 3+ bathrooms • private gardens • garage • open views over the Umbrian landscape Yes, it needs renovation. But that’s exactly where the opportunity is. You can turn this into: – a private countryside home – a high-yield rental – a boutique hospitality project Properties like this don’t exist at this price anymore, especially with this size and location. If you’re looking to invest or buy in Italy, DM me.

@SimonDixonTwitt The engineered global energy crisis is the excuse the US will use as to why demand for US bonds has collapsed? So then the Fed is forced to print money to buy these bonds that no one wants to buy?

Finland: In an extraordinary miscarriage of justice, Päivi Räsänen - a Finnish MP – has been convicted by the Finnish Supreme Court of “hate speech” for drafting a church pamphlet over 20 years ago. Amazingly, Päivi was convicted under the “war crimes and crimes against humanity” section of Finland’s criminal code. That “law” did not even exist when Päivi committed her “crime.” A Lutheran bishop, Juhana Pohjola, was also convicted for his role in publishing the church pamphlet. The Court ruled further that the pamphlet must be “removed from public access and destroyed.” Finland is now in breach of international law. The right to speak freely – especially on matters of faith – is firmly protected by international legal standards. The Christian Emergency Alliance fully denounces this abominable holding. Pray for Päivi Räsänen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola, along with their families.

My client messaged me at 4am. "There's just not enough days in the week for the number of dates I'm arranging." A few weeks ago, he couldn't get a response on Hinge to save his life. Nothing about him changed. His photos were the same. His job was the same. He was the same guy. The only thing that changed was how he messaged women. I've been coaching men for 5 years. Helped 42 find girlfriends. 20 get engaged. 8 get married. And the single biggest reason men fail at getting dates isn't their looks, their height, or their income. It's that they have no idea how to message women. So I put everything I know about it into a guide. Inside: • Why she ghosts (it's not what you think) • The one thing every message needs to do • How to mirror her so she feels understood, not chased • How to bring her into your world through text • When and how to ask her out so she says yes • The exact template my clients use to arrange dates • The ghost-busting message to send when she's gone quiet I was going to sell this for $97. Deciding to test interest by giving it away free, first. Comment GHOST and I'll DM it to you. (Must be following so I can DM)

@TimothyEveland No. The Finns were equal to the Swedes in fighting in the middle ages, but less organised. The Kainu (Finnish association of North West wood cutters) invaded parts of Sweden in retaliation for raids on Finland. The Swedes respected the fighting prowess of the Finns.

I just bought a 7 bedroom, 10 bath, 12,000 sq ft palace in the suburbs outside Caracas for $115,000. All cash, waived all contingencies, sight unseen. Will visit over the summer. Betting on a turnaround here. Don’t call me an imperialist. I’m just a value investor.

@TimurNegru Do you offer a property management service? I'm in the southern hemisphere, so if I bought a property like this I would need a company to do the property management for me. I would be looking to do short term rentals via airbnb or something similar.

The property is located in Racale (Salento), the heel of Italy's boot. It's a historic center with real Italian town life and close to the coast. The Salento market is growing but still flying under the radar vs Tuscany and Amalfi for example. Baroque villas with citrus groves at these prices are rare even in Southern Italy. Built in 1950, very good condition. P.S. What would €375k buy you where you live?

This then emboldens the nutters on the left to carry out violence against their political opponents. When do the left ever condemn violence by antida? Almost never. When do the right condemn violence by far right groups on the rare occasions they occur? Almost always.

SENATOR JACINTA NAMPIJINPA PRICE SENATOR FOR THE NORTHERN TERRITORY STATEMENT This evening, I spoke with the Leader of the Federal Liberal Party and Federal Opposition, Sussan Ley, who has asked me to step down from the shadow ministry. I have accepted the Leader’s decision. And I reiterated my regret in not being clearer in my comments on the ABC last Wednesday. Nevertheless, I took the opportunity to express to the Leader my disappointment that some colleagues disregarded the key point I was making about the damaging impacts of mass migration. And that some colleagues instead chose to indulge agenda-driven media commentary on this matter. To reiterate comments from my earlier statement: I never intended to be disparaging towards our Indian community. And I wish no ill-will whatsoever to the Indian community – or any other migrant group. My concern – as it is for millions of Australians – is Labor’s mass migration agenda and its ramifications. My concern is not migration itself – it’s the magnitude of migration. Migration at the current scale and pace is putting excessive pressures on housing, infrastructure and services. And that makes life tougher for all families. I want to see a better life for all families – whether you’re a migrant, a resident, or a citizen – and regardless of your background. This has been a disappointing episode for the Liberal Party. I will learn from it. I’m sure others will too. No individual is bigger than a party. And I’m sure events of the past week will ultimately make our party stronger. Although my time as the Shadow Minister for Defence Industry and Defence Personnel has been cut short, it has been an honour to serve in the shadow defence portfolio. I was incredibly proud to see officers graduate from the Royal Military College, Duntroon – young, patriotic Australians who embody the virtue of service which makes our country tick. I was inspired by the ingenuity of Australian businesses which have such determination and capacity to produce the weapons our country needs – at speed and scale – to help deter aggression and defend our nation’s interests. And I was honoured to meet with the Ambassadors of Israel and Ukraine and express the Coalition’s support for two countries that are on the frontline of the battle of civilisation against barbarity and tyranny. Thanks also to my defence portfolio colleagues – Angus Taylor, Phillip Thompson and Darren Chester – who are doing a sterling job in holding the Albanese Government to account. I also want to express my gratitude to the following: to those members of the Indian community who have reached out to me in solidarity; to those colleagues who have stood by side; and to the thousands of Australians who have had my back and sent me messages of support. Although I will be returning to the backbench, I will continue to speak up on issues which are in the national interest and that are important to millions of Australians. Be that on Indigenous issues: The plight of those in remote communities. The ongoing romanticisation of traditional culture that inhibits addressing the root causes of Indigenous violence today. The ineffectiveness of bloated bureaucracies that have done nothing to “close the gap”. And the need to push back against activists who, ignoring the referendum outcome and the will of the Australian people, march on with the goals of segregation and reparations under the guise of that Orwellian phrase “truth-telling”. Or be that on other policy issues: The ramifications of mass migration. The economically immiserating and freedom eroding policy of Net Zero. The indoctrination of children in our classrooms that engenders national guilt and inhibits national pride. The Albanese Government’s determination to move Australia away from a free-market economy and towards a state-directed and controlled economy – having embraced the same statist ideas that have devastated economies and people wherever and whenever they’ve been implemented. And the Chinese Communist Party’s military aggression in our region and its foreign interference in our country that presents a great danger of our age. Our remarkable country is weaker, worse off and more divided than it has ever been due to the actions of the Albanese Labor Government. In tough times for our nation, it’s a time for courage, for conviction and for truth if we are to reverse Australia’s decline and advance Australia again. Wednesday, 10 September 2025

@DrCalumMiller Hungary has turned the birth rate around with tax incentives. A married woman who has 3 or more children pays non income tax for the rest of her life. A married woman with 2 children pays half of the normal income tax rate. Governments just need the will.
