@AndrewHammel1 @MJJRepository Again, instead of learning a thing or two and humbling yourself you just continue to be brazenly obtuse . At this point I cannot tell if this is an intelligence/comprehension issue or a defense mechanism stemming from embarrassment.

@MJJRepository Accurate. The article focuses on young boys because those are the category of persons he was attracted to and abused. His friendly relations with other people are irrelevant.

THREAD: A highlight of the many factual errors, deliberate omissions, timeline falsities and other material mistakes made in @AndrewHammel1's piece published by @Quillette. Where fact-checking was clearly not of interest—but sourcing from Dimond and Gutierrez somehow made sense.

@JEEIslandBoy69 Yep, he was very weird. Just like any SUPER famous/rich/talented person who didn’t have a childhood would be.

This thread attacking Michael Jackson, over 2 decades after he was unanimously acquitted, has rightly been “community noted,” but this amazing short clip from his trial attorney Thomas Mesereau should end any rational debate over whether Jackson was really guilty of any crime…🔥
Quillette@Quillette

A Michael Jackson biopic that whitewashes decades of child sexual abuse is set to make $1 billion. A sequel is already in development. @AndrewHammel1 on the story it refuses to tell. 🧵

@Sipowicz1042 @Zigmanfreud @AndrewHammel1 Perhaps, but not in a situation where a poor excuse for a journo repeatedly asserts these supposed patterns of pedophilic behaviour and twists himself into a pretzel in his attempt to assign them to Jackson.

@Zigmanfreud @AndrewHammel1 John I agree with you that MJ was likely innocent of everything he has been accused of and that the accusers are shady and have ulterior motives, however arguments that revolve around the absence of something demonstrate poor reasoning.

Here is the latest hit piece on Michael Jackson, provided outside the paywall by the writer… I expected it to be garbage. It is comically worse. It relies heavily on all sorts of already easily discredited people (Dimond, Gutiérrez, Morgan, Bashir, Robson, Safechuck, Reed, Latoya, etc). The most hilarious part is when he admits that Gutiérrez “is not a credible source,” but that doesn’t stop him from still extensively citing his claims, nor does it cause him to stop giving credibility to those (like Dimond) who were easily duped by him. The most absurd factual distortion is the treatment of Jordie Chandler’s infamous description of MJ’s penis, which influenced many people (including myself) against MJ. Hammel pretends that the sketch is legitimate (it is laughable, which is why the media never shows it to you) and claims, with ZERO sourcing, that the coroner was somehow wrong about him being uncircumcised. The most glaring omission is, after quickly and absurdly rationalizing that the criminal case failed only because of the high burden of proof, not even attempting to explain the literally inexplicable lack of successful lawsuits against Jackson in this realm. If MJ was really a sexual abuser of children, because of all the money involved and the willingness of the media to give lots of oxygen to ANY claim against him, there would have been hundreds of very credible accusers who would have come forward during his trial, or, at the very least, immediately after his death. Instead, we still have not seen even ONE civil trial against Jackson based on a sexual allegation (and for those, like Dimond, who claim, without evidence, that the Jackson team quietly pays accusers off, why didn’t they do that with Robson and Safechuck?!). No matter how many times those who desperately want to believe that Jackson was guilty (or want to benefit from giving his haters what they desire) try to regurgitate the allegations, nothing, other than some sort of new piece of smoking gun evidence, is ever going to magically turn that obvious garbage into gold. This disappointing piece utterly lacks anything close to changing that reality.
