A proposed class-action lawsuit has been filed against Google and YouTube, claiming YouTube Premium isn’t as “ad-free” as the company says.
The lawsuit argues that while Premium removes YouTube’s own ads, subscribers still must watch sponsored segments that creators include in their videos.
The plaintiffs say those are still ads, even if they aren’t served by YouTube itself.
The complaint also challenges YouTube’s marketing, which promises “No ads,” “No interruptions,” and “Unlimited ad-free videos.”
The plaintiffs argue those claims mislead people into believing they won’t see any advertising after paying for Premium.

Valve is getting praise after helping a first-time indie developer instead of rejecting their game at the last minute.
The developer accidentally uploaded a broken build that wouldn’t launch just before the Steam Next Fest deadline.
Instead of rejecting it, a Steam reviewer found the problem, fixed the game’s configuration, and approved the build in time for the event.
Other indie developers also shared that Valve has done the same for their games

@revenant_MMXX I enjoy audiobooks, but it's definitely listening and not reading. It engages your brain in a totally different way, especially if you're not listening intently.
I've read Lord of the Rings. I listened to Journey to the Center of the Earth. It's nice, but it's not reading.
