For the last 25 years the only English clubs to win in Europe over the 3 competitions are - Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea & Spurs. Nobody blinked and nobody moaned about the competitions…in particular UEL or ECL. But now we have had 3 clubs outside the big 6 win in Europe - West Ham, Villa & Palace. All of sudden the competitions are crap, waste of time, need to be scrapped or changed because it’s to easy for English clubs if any of those 3 can win🤣 Even fans of clubs not in the big 6 are crying about it… in fact, they are crying the most 🤷🏻‍♂️ everybody has got so used to the dominance of those clubs they’ve become brainwashed/Sky washed 🤦🏻‍♂️ #AVFC #UTV

@macL4_4EL @Ecclesbean I think rohl was good when he played so was Armstrong and tim. Aznou never got a chance neither did Patterson. What i do no is playing the near identical team and formation week after week failed Never once went with Barry and beto. Just try something because he failed

@Ecclesbean @kevjomeara1 Our options were not great this season. Who would you have played more? Patterson? Coleman? Alcaraz? McNeil? Graham? Dibling? Anzou? Armstrong? Would they have taken us to Europe? We all get frustrated with subs or team selection. That's been the case every season of my life.

@macL4_4EL @kevjomeara1 The biggest contributing factor to why we tailed off when it mattered was his mismanagement of the squad. Fewest players used across the season, fewest subs used across the league, highest amount of players over 2500 mins & kept most of the £100m invested on the bench

@macL4_4EL @kevjomeara1 Moyes is the very definition of adequate nothing more. Over 1000 domestic games, no trophies, AVG league finish is 9.5, AVG fa cup round 4.5 AVG league cup round 3. No way should the Friedkins trust him with recruitment he'll set us back 3/4 years

@kevjomeara1 @Ecclesbean You've put an extremely negative spin on our season. You haven't offered anything positive about it. I've acknowledged we tailed off badly but for much of this season we were in the Europe conversation. It was never as depressing as you make it sound.

@macL4_4EL @Ecclesbean 1 point more than last season spent 100 million. Only big win was Chelsea but beat them many times at home utd only big win. We took i think 7 or 8 points off the bottom 4. We blew Europe 3 points from 7 games. What was the progress. Only player we learned about rohl.

@kevjomeara1 @Ecclesbean Ask JG if we improved. "1000%. At one point, we were talking about Europe being possible and it was there for us without the ending we had. We've lost too many games in the final stretch, but definitely progress. Won a lot of big games against big teams. Definitely progressive"

@kevjomeara1 @Ecclesbean You're being extremely negative. Changing manager every season or two is not the answer. We got close to Europe this season. Close to a CL place. We just tailed off at the end. That's not a sackable offence. It's more than most expected. We have a lot to build on and we will.

@kevjomeara1 @Ecclesbean Europe and the CL were often mentioned in press conferences. I watched them all. We just tailed off badly in the end, but some key decisions went against us in that period. The derby, Man City, West Ham, and Arsenal earlier on

@kevjomeara1 @Ecclesbean No one talked about us being close to champions league at the start of the season. Incredible to get so close to Europe this season. We can do even better with some astute signings.
