CDC's Rochelle Walensky wanted to tell the truth on August 6, 2022, but the White House stopped it. For his part, Fauci just wanted to sell product, even if it was useless at best and probably dangerous.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but masks stop the spread of infectious diseases. If you don't believe this, next time you go into surgery ask the entire OR staff to not wear masks and see how that goes.

Funny how science works: new evidence comes in, conclusions change. The NEJM later acknowledged the value of masking as the evidence changed. That’s called science.
