Coercive control is illegal in domestic situation and I don't see why it's OK in psychiatric field. Sweeping stuff under carpet serves no-one's interests. It ruins lives.

Im very low energy and low at the moment so will take a break from twitter as there is so much offensive and cruel gaslighting content on here. I did what I did and tweeted what I did to try to help others, not to harm, nor for any sense of vengeance.

@DrElleMorris @russtaylor56 @drjanaway @ReadReadj I wasn't suicidal before. It's a very strong firm of control and it takes away ability to feel feelings. It's also unsafe to speak about it. I firmly believe it should only be sham ect that is given. Brain Surgery where you know what you're doing would be safer (my opinion)

@DrElleMorris @russtaylor56 @drjanaway @ReadReadj There are people who tell me it saved my life. It didn't. Antibiotics and fluid therapy did. I found having confirmation from a psychiatrist it had probably made everything worse built some trust. I don't really want to live anymore though

Am concerned though that as far as I can tell there is no mention of antipsychotic medication. Could someone explain the rationale for this please?

@DrElleMorris @russtaylor56 @drjanaway @ReadReadj I don't believe ect has side effects, it has effects. It's an electrical injury. Whether you see those effects as beneficial or otherwise is the difference between those who say it helped and those who would rather die than re experience it. For me it was life changing injury.

@DrElleMorris @russtaylor56 @drjanaway @ReadReadj Im basing it on conversations had with a psychiatrist who has had it, who had a more balanced view and was able to understand the effects, some would say side effects. Despite my best efforts words fail to get across what it's effects are.

This sort of misinformation is very destructive. It can bring up suicidal ideation when survivors of traumas, râpé or otherwise have their lived experience invalidated. We should take care that what we say, 'furst dies no harm'. Words matter!

I never found out why, because she didn't say. Instead she made up stuff and said I'd left her twitter group because I'd got angry.

@vetmindmatters very disappointed with recent course I half attended and where I was excluded and left in zoom waiting room for final half hour of session. Phone had run out of battery and when I plugged in and recharged wasn't let back. No explanation. No apology. Uncivil!

@PaulaMc007 Last couple of days I've felt I wished they had killed me instead of half killing me. Latest upsetting thing that happened to me was being left in a zoom waiting room in paid for zoom webinar that was meant to help up skill dealing with incivility.
