I received a tip that a petition circulator in Casa de Oro was paying people via Cash App to sign multiple voter initiative petitions. I went undercover. On video, he offers me something of value for my signature. Offering cash or incentives for signatures is illegal in California. These petitions are backed by major special interests, who pay petition circulators per signature including Uber. Watch this.
