Laser defense is here folks Worth paying attention when all signals align Most people are talking about $AVAV and their Locust system, but $AVAV is too diversified for me if I want to get exposure to laser weapons. Here are my top picks for the next defense technology shift: Long $LASR for pure play US, strongest laser up to 1MW in development, only around ~3.5B USD market cap Long $EOS.AX for the rest of the world, ITAR free so really attractive for any country that wants full sovereignty over their defense systems. Already got a first order from the Netherlands for the Apollo laser. Really cheap at ~1.8B AUD

In my personal use I see also the big steps and premium product Anthropic is building. I used to use Chat GPT more often but the step to Claude has made working so much easier. The difference is huge currently imo.

@MarkosAAIG @BlackScholesMan Quick workaround: use iPhone voice memo to record a thought or ramble, then “copy text” into Claude as a prompt. I do this on daily walks when I want to info dump ideas into Claude.

I’m being greedy and hoping we base near $150. If $135-$150 range happens, I think it will be a generational buy opportunity.

And to get really nerdy on this: SAFER SKIES Act — Title LXXXVI, FY2026 NDAA — Whole-of-Government Authorized Technology List: SLTT agencies "are restricted to using only counter-drone systems from a federally authorized technology list." The NDAA mandates "a list of authorized technologies maintained jointly by the DOJ, DHS, DoD, and FAA."

Per the 2026 NDAA any counter drone system fielded by the U.S. government has to be approved the JIATF 401. When that occurs said system can be purchased by ALL branches of government.

Though, If it’s locust that was installed at PBI, this thing will run massively. Also with massive YoY budget increase for Space Force, maybe that will help with the SCAR contract 🤷‍♂️

This system seems to be getting the most operational testing and usage. Worth keeping an eye on.

I own both $BAH & $SAIC for most of the reasons you laid out. However, I have another take and that why even bother working as a GS employee? They have basically stripped everything of value associated with it. However, work still needs to get done. I think once's we get back into FY 26 we will see growing reliance on contractors to do the work
