FAA Greenlights Laser Sentry Guns To Combat Attack Drones In U.S. Airspace zerohedge.com/military/faa-g…

We articulated this abstraction layer Anthropic is going after and how this turns into $$ in our full report on Anthropic and their revenue potential. The financial model we built end of February had them at $26B in 26 and they will likely beat that. thediligencestack.com/p/anthropic-an…

.@aerovironment’s LOCUST laser system is what the military was reportedly testing when El Paso airport was temporarily shut down. It’s also what’s reportedly being considered for deployment at the Army base housing Secretaries Hegseth and Rubio. As drones shape warfighting in Iran and Ukraine, and pose security risks at home, demand for counter-drone tech is surging. My discussion w/ $AVAV ceo Wahid Nawabi:

AeroVironment is set to enter its LOCUST X3 system for the US Army’s requirement to produce an initial batch of 24 Enduring High Energy Laser (HEL) systems. This latest iteration leverages the design, production, and combat-proven operational experience of the 10–20 kW class Locust HEL, which has been deployed since at least 2023. AeroVironment describes LOCUST X3 as "a third-generation 20–35+ kW Directed Energy Laser Weapon System designed to defeat current and emerging aerial threats, including Group 1–3 unmanned aircraft systems"

New YTD Low. No crying. Only buying.
