If you knew what she meant, you would know it’s ridiculous to compare the smell of formaldehyde in flesh to gas gangrene / necrotizing fasciitis For the latter, the ONLY thing that keeps us going is the thought of saving the patient’s life…

My first clinical posting, physiotherapy had a department. One day our Chief told us we're going to the ward. I for one was excited until I got into the ward. The smell oozing from the ward was very unbearable, but on the other end of the room there were nursing students gisting and laughing😭 amd I was wondering how they were comfortable to that extent inhaling all that mess😭 Ngl, I held my breath till I left there. After that experience, I dey always pity nursing students, walahi🤧

If you see a diabetic developing serious symptoms (confusion, shaking, sweating) and you're not sure if it’s because of high/low blood sugar, give them some sugar first if they're still conscious while trying to get to the hospital. Low blood sugar kills fast but high blood sugar won't be significantly worsened by a small sugar dose. When in doubt, give sugar.

If HCWs become serious We'd all unite under that thing called JOHESU or a temporary coalition. I know your egoistic people can't believe a doctor is saying this but I have my reasons. This demonic government does not send anybody. To get anything from these demons in power, you need to burn down everything for it. We have to collapse the entire healthcare system of the country. Everyone needs to walk out. Not that NARD will do one 2 weeks strike in 3 years and we think we are being serious. I respect NARD efforts but it's not enough. Everyone needs to walk out, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, cleaners, records. Everyone. Even the devil himself cannot survive a united opposition.. We need a total revamp of this shitty payment structure called conmess and conhess. But as long as we are divided, we have lost.
