Probably a good idea to bench all Colts besides Jonathan Taylor in the fantasy playoffs. I'll be sitting Tyler Warren for Harold Fannin in one spot.

We already see a bunch of HC job openings in CFB. That # will only continue to grow into the off season. Each program will be thinking the same thing- Home run hire. The problem is, there is not enough championship coaches to go around. There will be massive bidding wars, and someone will significantly overpay. That is always the other side to moving on from your HC- especially one that’s succeed at a very high level. We’ve seen it at multiple places over the last decade: stable and successful programs get tired of being *just* good to at times great. The pressure builds leading to a firing. The excitement builds into a new hire. Season one’s failures are written off as “rebuilding” or “transitioning”. Season 2 typically is more of the same- maybe slightly better or worse. And by season 3, the program feels like they’re on a different planet from where they were before making the initial change. I am not saying that making a move is a bad thing or that fans/ programs should accept mediocrity (or in some occasions accept being “really good” but not championship level.) What I am saying is, nothing is a guarantee. It’s never as simple as: fire a coach, make a hire, suddenly you’re winning championships. This is a very interesting and pivotal time in college football. A few of these teams will take a swing and knock it out of the park- further changing the power structure in CFB. Others will swing and miss- making it even harder to bounce back. Besides Cignetti- what are some of the “obvious” names you guys think will be considered?

Colt Keith said his confidence is at an all-time low after the game. Shocked to hear that. All of us have felt that at one point in our lives. I’ve just never heard anybody say it. #RepDetroit
