Great to see you in BC, @PierrePoilievre! I have known Pierre for a long time. He is a close friend and natural leader, well aware of the struggles of British Columbians. As Premier, I will work closely with a Conservative federal government to restore security, prosperity, freedom, and patriotic pride in British Columbia.

You want to start listing the things Albertans didn't vote for @MarkJCarney? That list (and its a long one over succesive elections) is largely what forced 700k Albertans to ask for a vote on this very issue. Plus, I dont remember you winning a majority in the last election?

“I think it’s really, really clear where Jews of conscience stand [on Palestine].” Canadian Party Leader @avilewis explains to @mehdirhasan why he identifies as anti-Zionist and believes most North American Jews feel similarly.

Spoke this morning with Israeli Foreign Minister @gidonsaar to raise Canada’s serious concern with Israel’s mistreatment of Canadian participants in the flotilla. I raised that denying Canadian citizens access to consular services while they were detained violates the Vienna Convention and must never happen again. Canada is providing Israeli authorities with evidence of this mistreatment. We have asked for and expect an independent investigation and those responsible to be held to account. We also discussed the deplorable rise of antisemitism in Canada and the steps that the Government of Canada is taking to protect Canada’s Jewish community from hate and violence.

Hanging an image of a Jew with a kippah in effigy is disgusting, antisemitic and clear incitement to hatred. I appreciate that @MrLeslieRoberts the city councillor for the downtown district has reached out to the @SPVM on this & I have done the same.

The child “Muna Allah Nabil Abu Labda” was martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis earlier today.

Le groupe pro-Hamas Mtl4Palestine affiche le drapeau des Canadiens à côté de ce qui semble être une effigie d’un Juif portant une kippa, pendu avec une corde.

Almost five years ago, the monument in front of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School was surrounded by flowers, cards, soft toys and other mementoes, echoing grief that had swept across Canada. cheknews.ca/first-nations-…
