After nearly a decade with @MoorInsStrat, I’m excited to announce that in the new year, I will establish myself as an independent industry analyst. LoneStar Advisory & Research will continue to focus on my historic practice areas of enterprise and data center networking, telecommunications, and cybersecurity, with new extensibility into universal communications and end device security. Additionally, I am launching a new practice area focused on optical networking infrastructure, interconnects, underlying silicon, and services. The need for highly performant networking has never been more important, especially in today’s modern AI era. Those solution providers that can deliver scale up, out, and across will reap the rewards of the networking infrastructure gold rush. By all measures, @Fortinet delivered strong 2Q results growing top line revenue by 26% YoY and at healthy margins. The company's recent announcement to partner with @Intel_Foundry to produce its security silicon is also a positive move to leverage U.S. domestic semiconductor fabrication. $FTNT

Now an IT operations issue that has halted the boarding on my second leg today from DFW with no clarification?

Another week of business travel and more mechanical and operational issues with @AmericanAir - this is becoming a broken record. Another missed connection and stranded again. This after moving from a flight the same day with similar issues.
