He just gave one of the most tone deaf postgame interviews in history after an NCAA Tournament loss, and he comes off as ignorant and a terrible person to lead young men, but I don’t think anyone thought he was going anywhere as a result.
Tough look for an AD who purportedly cares about what you’re supposed to care about in that job to be hugging that guy.

@BabysitterBari As much as we hate to admit it, I do agree with this. Even though Oats was hired right before Auburn made it to the Final Four, when y'all beat Kentucky, that was the moment for our athletic department where they said we gotta pour more money into the basketball program

@CamNewtonFan69 The next SEC team in should have been Oklahoma. The SEC has been getting dog walked in the tournament. Big Ten is far superior. If any teams should have gotten in, it would have been Indiana or USC based off of the Big Ten's results.

Auburn played 9 of the 16 teams in the Sweet 16 this season
defeated 3 of them, dog walked by 3 (we don’t talk about that tho), rest were close losses
Ain’t saying they would’ve gone far, but they definitely would’ve competed better than #SomeTeams they let in
