You're looking at a tail end cause. Yes hospitals heal the sick but if you want more hospitals, and everything else good from people, you want a highly religious society where religion is constantly on their mind. How many hospitals have catholics built for example. Religious priming helps religious people act in a pro social way. It doesn't work on the non religious. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.117…

This is a good lesson for school children, and comes directly from American conservatism. But it is an incomplete lesson, President Roosevelt taught the principal in a more complete way. This is at odds with the tradition of the democrat party which still to this day believes Americans should be divided and treated differently based on their race. Bringing them to the justice system to face punishment. Instead of sheltering them from justice. Sheltering the needy and morning with those who morn is also the conservative thing to do. Conservatives do significantly work and make donations. What separates Conservatives from leftist is a conservative wants to help you become better. A leftist wants you to feel comfortable in your vice.

Superman is virtuous and aspirational. He is better than other people, and that makes him a conservative character. He values truth: not your truth or his truth, but the truth. He values it with courage, regardless of the consequences. He fights for justice: he deals with people as they deserve. He will bring the criminal to punishment. He represents the American way: American exceptionalism and patriotism. Both are things the left openly rejects and conservatives embrace. Superman is a very conservative character.
