@ProudSocialist Average people pay billions in taxes on a monthly basis. They end up with nothing after all their labour, and the government wouldn’t even lend a helping hand.

Imagine still being for incremental change when everything is collapsing around us, the rich are hoarding all of the wealth, and the people are rightfully angrier than ever. This moment calls for revolutionary change, not voting for the bourgeoisie parties that brought us here.

As I told you before, you have to look at the evidence! My belief, in part, rests on prophecy. Isaiah 7:14 prophesied the virgin birth roughly 700 years before Jesus was born, and Micah 5:2 identifies Bethlehem as the Messiah’s birthplace centuries in advance. As I said before, beyond those individual prophecies, the cumulative case is striking. Many statisticians have made the case, but the best-known probability analysis was developed by Peter W. Stoner and published in Science Speaks, where he argued that the chance of one man fulfilling just eight specific Messianic prophecies by coincidence is 1 in 10^17, 1 in 10^45 for 16 prophecies and 1 in 10^57 for 48 prophecies. So the Christian claim is not simply that Jesus performed a miracle, but that His life corresponded to a pattern announced in the Old Testament long beforehand. For that reason, the virgin birth is not an isolated doctrine but part of a larger prophetic framework that Christians take as evidence for Jesus’ identity as the Messiah.

I dismiss other religions because when you look at the evidence, it’s just not there like it is with Christianity in the Bible. All of the various religions have their own truth claims, and they cannot all be correct. So you have to look at the evidence for each one. For me, it’s Christianity.

Agreed. I sent the wrong link. To be fair though, there is 0 science in the Atheist’s argument either. They just say they don’t believe in God because they have no scientific proof. They have no science to prove otherwise. They have no scientific proof of how nothing turned into something, how life started, etc
