We've got to stop talking down our country. No nation is perfect, but Britain stands out as one of the few where minorities, regardless of their race, sex, religion, or background, are genuinely represented and valued. This is one of the best places to live in the world.

You used to be able to go to a beef farmer and deal directly with him. Easy peasy. Now we have no choice. Governments do affect prices

I remember when Harper was complaining about prices and warning retail to lower them... nothing happened as beyond wage and price control(tried by P.Trudeau and Nixon), prices is out of government hands.

We must trust that every move Carney makes is in the national public interest. In ways that we probably can't foresee yet because we're not in the room. We won't know how to properly judge each move for at least 15-20 years. So for now, we have to chill, and trust him. (fin)

I like hearing tough talk from the PM on Trump just like everybody does. But here's the thing: we don't know what calculations Carney must make moment to moment to protect Canada. We're not privy to the same info the PM is *we can't backseat drive this*. We have to trust him.

Being a Black content expert is a crazy experience online, as people often believe their casual opinions on a topic are more valuable than an informed opinion from someone who has dedicated their life to examining it.
