Im not sure which i am. Im a guy whos 1\2 time rancher and half time fabricator considering quiting fabrication work. All admit the money is hard to turn down but id rather stay at home and its not like i "need" another dollar. Oh throw in a watch because i do have a thing for mech timepieces

If he’s posting about partying with his bros and barhopping on the weekend, he left the ranch to start a new life, but wishes he was still ranching. If he’s wearing a bright new $2000 beaver cowboy hat without a stain, driving a $150,000 raptor and posting with a new girl sporting Botox and bolt ons, he’s got the big job and he’s trying to make his ex-girlfriend from the farm next door back home jealous, and he still wishes he was ranching. If he’s posting pictures on his porch with a dirty, beat up cowboy hat, a beautiful wife who just made sourdough bread, polite kids doing chores, a ranch full of animals, no watch, a twenty year old beat up truck, and boots with holes in them, he went back to the ranch… and he intends to die there… happily.

One of the worst things about having #MCAS is you can have a reaction to something you drink regularly. I’ve been drinking cherry cola olipops for months if not over a year now. Had 1 today, big allergic reaction. Nothing near anaphylaxis but yikes. Probably the bucket theory🫠

I'd like to think that many of us have reached this age. "Old enough to read fairy tales again". There is profound truth in: -Stories about courage in the face of fear. -Reflections on sacrifice and redemption. -Reminders that good and evil are real. -Expressions of hope that darkness does not have the final word. A way of seeing reality more clearly. But, a bit differently than before, as wonder and wisdom are not opposites. Sometimes the wisest thing we can do is to believe again that dragons can be defeated, that sacrifice has meaning, and that beyond the darkest forest there may still be light. ✨ I would have loved to spend an afternoon with C.S. Lewis.. just sipping coffee/tea and having conversation, wherever it would go..

Making animal rescue partisan is the problem. The dogs living their lives in cages don’t care whether the people saving them are conservative, liberal, libertarian, religious, atheist, or “Doge.” They care that someone finally came.
