@PythonPr Since the braces are mismatched ([)], I think you're going to get an error.

@hy0nggi @Rainmaker1973 Thanks for that I didn't realize it was a local native tribe. Even more meaningful to me now thanks to this.

Marie Wilcox realized she was the last person on Earth who could speak the Wukchumni language fluently, so at 82, she taught herself to use a computer and spent seven years typing a 6,000-word Wukchumni dictionary, the first written record of the language in history, to save it from extinction.

@SaveStandard We already voted to keep DST and dump Standard Time, so you've got it backwards. Don't send us back to the dark days of dark evenings when you have to waste electricity that sunlight provides for free. Leaving work in the dark & wasting the most personally productive time is bad

Standard Time keeps mornings naturally sunlit, for health and safety. Permanent Daylight Saving Time would force us to wake hours before sunrise, to start work/school in cold darkness. Tell lawmakers to ditch DST with permanent Standard Time! 🔗👇

@HumansNoContext Or employers simply pay service staff what they are worth. Patrons might pay a little bit more, but everything is upfront and fair, and the US eliminates the hidden tipping "tax", making it more inline with the rest of the world. Best of all, nobody gets stiffed or feels guilty.

@guysxtn Hi. Some loading ramps had windows--not floor to ceiling like in the photos--but I last flew in 1999, so things probably changed. Ones that didn't were claustrophobic livestock chutes. I think you meant SBP instead of SLO since you already mentioned SBA. 😀 My home airport.

@ohhanxiety 6 or 4 depending on whether the "I have 6 eggs" indicates the starting condition (before cooking and eating them, leaving 4 remaining) or the ending condition (started with 8 and used 2 leaving 6). If we assume the narrative is sequential, then 4 is the best answer.

@BaronDestructo Mon Capitán Picard earns my vote. Kirk is the Classic. Picard is the Pinnacle. Both saved humanity multiple times. Both broke rules. But Picard is more about his crew as extended family. Kirk is more about the adventures. I'm a family person, so Picard it is.

@DavidArchie As a native, I wouldn't know anything different, except for the Hallmark and Lifetime movie versions. 😀 Looking forward to a Christmas album. Maybe a mix of refreshed but respectful classics and new ones like this great song!

@HumansNoContext 1. What species is the father? 2. But how? Men can't get pregnant, right? 3. I can fix that. *evil look*

@CarlyCassella points out a study that states human minds aren't meant to be awake after midnight. It has a hugely glaring omission: NIGHT OWLS. The negatives described are exactly how mornings can affect us. Whereas, 10-2 AM are prime productive hours and usually very positive.

@christophcsmith In short, you're Harry Potter in his first year? 😄 But seriously, that's I've reason I love the field so much. There's always something to learn and to challenge me.

There's sooo much to learn in this computer science field. Sometimes I feel like a wizard, and other times I feel like a child.

@ScienceGuys_ The answer is that it's a poorly written question, and the person who wrote it is at fault. Both one and 36 have valid reasons for being correct. If you use a distributive property then it becomes 8 + 4 which is 12 and 12/12 is 1. Personally, that's the one I would go with.

@natomasbuzz What? No gas station? Costco should never go into a place where they can't put in a gas station. It's like Stockton: totally useless. Cal Expo and Woodland are always so busy. I was looking forward to having another option in the area. 😣

@RossKneeDeep I look to the host. If they keep them on, I do too. If they take them off, so do I. As a host, of people don't take them off, I ask them to change into washable guest slippers I keep by the door.

When visiting a person's (friend/acquaintance) home, is it the host's job to ask you to remove your shoes or is it something that you should just do? What are you doing? Is it necessary?
