Such an exciting project that we've been lucky enough to lead on with @mod_dio. Modelled for nutrient capture, this online chalk stream wetland will have many biodiversity and water quality benefits. #riverrestoration #saveourchalkstreams Part funded by @NationalHways

We’ve worked with @mod_dio to reduce nutrient pollution and boost biodiversity in the River Avon on Salisbury Plain Training Area, thanks to the DIO Conservation Stewardship Fund and @NationalHways Environment and Wellbeing Designated Fund #Network4Nature bit.ly/479MlfT

Over the past year, we have created and restored 14 hectares of wetland! 👏 This included a new wetland created at Lower Moor nature reserve, new wetland scrapes at Bay Meadows nature reserve and 19 new ponds created for Great Crested Newts. wiltshirewildlife.org/about-us #30by30

On Saturday the Water Guardians were very studiously learning all about Winter Tree ID with Richard Aisbitt in Melksham. After a very interesting morning looking at twigs with our magnifying lens we went for a walk around Conigre Mead to put our new skills to the test!
