For some reason, Yoan Moncada tried to tag the runner instead of just keeping his foot on the bag, which would have been an inning-ending DP. The next batter hit a 2-run single. The Angels are down 6-0 in the 3rd.

I love that the Angels have been giving Oswald Peraza playing time, and he rewards them for it again. He’s the exact type of player they should be giving opportunities to: good tools, former T100 prospect, didn’t get a ton of playing time in NY & still only 25.

The Angels bullpen may be limited to Ureña and the three lefties (Pomeranz, Lucchesi, Suter) tonight vs. a RH heavy Astros team. This is why I noted in an earlier tweet that the Angels could’ve used another RH (relief) arm this series.
