Highkey wish more devs would do the 2D & 3D playthrough modes in more #JRPGs like #DragonQuest XI did. I mean. It takes more time…but it’s such a great feature & gives great replayability to see the adventure in different lights.

Please stop saying Game Key Cards are "half way to physical". They are not what is meant when someone says a physical game. A physical game is a complete game on a cart or disc. Game Key Cards are digital games with extra steps. It's literally the worst of both worlds.

@WindmillPunch @TheGameFreek @chaosprimeZ @AneurynPlays well last you knew was apparently january of 2019 when nintendo closed the wii shop. the servers went down 2014. wiiu and 3ds servers went down 2024 but still has the pokemon bank and redownloading previously purchased content.

@BringBackBanjoK Microsoft for a while really leaned into modular, accessible controllers for a while. A friend of mine who lost his arm got a custom Wiimote/Nunchuck hybrid and was able to play a lot of games

I have a problem with the assumption that those with disabilities are incapable of gaming. In fact I’d go as far as to say gaming is one of the most accessible hobbies for the disabled. Most major companies, and even indies continue to make their games more and more accessible.

@BringBackBanjoK They included the Wii U but I believe they meant Wii as the 360 and PS3 were that era. But the Wii was based off the GameCube so it was already behind The Wii U was a failure and so it's getting shoved out the door quicker.

The Switch 2 is less than a year old and you can already play ZA, Pokopia, FRLG, XD and Colosseum will be coming soon, and of course Winds and Waves. And that’s not even counting all the Switch 1 releases. You could exclusively just buy Pokemon games and it’d be well worth your money lol

OP didn’t mean it like that, but imagine saying this as a bad thing. Pokémon carrying is the peak as a Pokémon fan. I 100% bought a Switch2 for ZA, Pokopia and of course Winds and Waves. Are we back?!

@SleepykyuSH I know one issue is that the game apparently never unloads water after it's loaded in? And I think the school town... Area is also always loaded if the camera is pointing in that direction. So longer play sessions tend to start falling a part a little.

@NickF_ca @CONEY Curious what makes BW2 so bad plot wise. A lot of people get confused by Ghetsis in the first one, not realizing he's been manipulating N as a figure head to consolidate power and only have Team Plasma with Pokemon to control Unova.

Starting my first Nuzlocke tonight in this game I've only ever played gen 1 without spoiling please give me a tip

@NickF_ca @CONEY I mean, the first 4 generations have a decorative plot at best. Gen 6 is facilitated social darwinism. 7 has a solid plot out of the series. 8 is low again with Elon Musk interrupting the Olympics to summon Satan to stop global warming. 9 has good scenes, but feels disjointed.
