@Wingsofdeathx Either I'm obscenely unlucky or you haven't been playing on pbe, I regularly see people with under 5 vision score and thats WITH trinkets.

Most players just want the game to be faithful to the source material.
Classic skins and models active by default. Old champion voices and lines
No trinkets/base gates
Old UI for shop
No modern jungle timers
This was all part of the experience youre trying to recreate

@Wingsofdeathx If you don't have trinkets you will genuinely see nobody aside from supports have over 2 vision score and thats #superlame imo

@Roy_Inverse @avrglinuxuser @CharmWeaver__ And so if the lower level players want to improve they need to learn how and when to use vision. Having gold cost created tradeoff and incentive to learning how to farm and use wards more effectively. Giving everyone free vision was another step to dumbing down the game.

@Wingsofdeathx @avrglinuxuser @CharmWeaver__ In high level sure, but on lower brackets no one did, even supports were relying just on sightstone, yes it makes sense that jg and supp had the most responsibility, but besides leesin it was rare for gold- junglers to buy it, and that was 90% of the playerbase back then.

@Roy_Inverse @avrglinuxuser @CharmWeaver__ The 2 roles with the most ability to move across the map were most responsible for scouting said map? Thats the tradeoff for all of the early agency. How is that unfair? Its not like laners never bought wards they just dont get to move around anywhere they want

@avrglinuxuser @CharmWeaver__ @Wingsofdeathx Trinkets were implemented because support(and some junglers) were forced to take on all the cost of vision and that was really unfair, they removed wards because supports were still doing when vision shouldve be everyones responsibility.

Why does riot insist on making all of these weird ass decisions that will hurt classic?
Are they afraid that if they made a ranked queue with the old ELO system without role queue, hidden mmr, aegis etc. people would see how bad their current ranked system is?

League Classic will only be available in PvP draft queues, Co-op vs. AI, and custom games. There will NOT be a Ranked queue, instead primary progression will be from the Summoner's Journey. Starting from Classic level 10, you can progress from Salt to Wood, all the way to Legend

Classic skins are skins that make champions look like their 2009-2013 style selves. They're unlocked through Classic skin tokens, which are earned from the seasonal pass.

@AnikiSmashFSP @pinossaur @Wickdlol I dont think role queue itself is a bad thing but the effect its had on the playerbase and what it allows players to do breeds the type of behavior where people just hyperfocus on playing 1 champ 1 role and if they dont get it they just dont care they can blame autofill go next

@Wingsofdeathx @pinossaur @Wickdlol And that just wasn't as common of an issue pre role queue. It's also why i get annoyed when people on here cry "I got auto filled' and it's the secondary role they signed up to play. Buddy, play more than one champion and be serviceable in at least two positions or no ranked.

@Wingsofdeathx People want to complete in a 15 year old version of a game? Anything thats not ranked retail is not meant for HC players. Nobody that is high ELO gives a shit about an old version of the game having ranked.

@AnikiSmashFSP @pinossaur @Wickdlol Being able to fill roles in a draft based game is a skill i think riot allowed people to get way too comfortable being 1 tricks. Its created a community where people only feel obligated to give their best effort if their initial conditions are met otherwise they blame the system

@pinossaur @Wickdlol @Wingsofdeathx But also, back then people needed to know more about the game and champions overall and I do think role queue has been a blessing and curse for the game. But if you got last pick 5 games in a row during pick order days during promos that was kind of shit
