Two artisans gave me a quotation First one - 1.6m (he’s good, an OG, doesn’t disappoint, wants the entire infrastructure job to delegate to other artisans, took a week to drop quotation (450k for workmanship) Second - 900k. He’s straight to the point, OG in the business, gives quotation on the spot, sets delivery timeline. Doesn’t disappoint. (200k for workmanship nonnegotiable) Seen both of them jobs and they are excellent. If you were me, who would you pick?

When I was in 200l, my phone was stolen. I had the option of saving from my pocket money to buy a good phone but I rejected it. I used torchlight phone for a year. My friends who had less pocket money than me saved to buy good phone and wore new clothes. Blackberry was reigning so it made sense to want to jump on it. My priority was my food. I wasn't going to alter my feeding for phone. I went to the main market on weekend and did proper shopping to cook. Ironically, I was feeding the people using their money to buy phone and clothes. Buying phone meant they had to hold their stomach. My point is, everyone has what matters to them. Your money will go where your priority is.

N100K to scale up (not to start a fresh business) in a rural community is not small for those that are serious. Twitter reality will attack the initiative but I have once gifted barbers around me additional clippers worth less than N100K, a tailor that needed N50K for her bag materials to sew samples & a bricklayer that needed wheelbarrow. You see that N50K, N100K you believe are small, it can change some people's life & make them scale up in their small environment 🙏🏻
