From homes to hawker stalls, the poor are paying the price of political arrogance. Bengal does not believe in bulldozer politics. The land of Tagore and Netaji cannot be ruled through fear, force, and demolition drives against ordinary citizens. What we are witnessing today is an attack on the dignity of the people of Bengal- daily wage workers, street vendors, small shopkeepers, and struggling families who have built their lives brick by brick. The massive eviction drive around Howrah Station, the unrest and anger erupting on the streets of Tiljala and Park Circus, and the growing desperation among those suddenly stripped of shelter and livelihood expose a government more obsessed with optics than humanity. A government that demolishes first and listens later has forgotten the very spirit of Bengal. Real progress is measured by how a state treats its weakest citizens, not by how quickly it can erase them. Bulldozers cannot become the language of governance in a state built on culture, compassion, and resistance to oppression.

@MamataOfficial Evicting them without proper rehabilitation shows their anti-poor mindset. Bengal’s soul is in its compassion for the weak, not in destroying their small livelihoods. Bengal will never accept this cruelty. The people are watching.

27 Lakh Voters were deleted in West Bengal. These were not 'dead people' or 'bangladeshis'. These were real people who had already appealed to get their votes restored. The Supreme court could’ve delayed the West Bengal elections until the tribunals finished hearing the appeals of these voters. But they didn’t. Only around 1607 voters were restored in time by phase 2 of these elections. Almost every appeal that was heard turned out to be a wrongful deletion. In any functional democracy, this would not count as a free and fair election where a large section of voters have lost their voting rights. I'm not saying that TMC would've won for sure if they were added back, maybe BJP would still win, but the question is about the fairness of these elections. Free and fair elections are a spectrum. Ever since Delhi-Maharashtra-Bihar-Bengal, this needle has moved more and more towards being unfair. Each time somehow the opposition parties participate as usual in the electoral process thinking that they can still pull of a win despite the compromised EC, ED, CBI etc. and each time they have been proven wrong after 2024 Lok Sabha. The question is, at what point will they feel that the level of unfairness is so unfair that elections should be boycotted? I personally feel TMC should have refused to participate in these elections until all those 27 lakh appeals were finished being heard.

Note: The actual deletions were more than 90 lakhs but I’m specifically talking about 27 lakh figure because that’s the number of people that had appealed against their deletion.

In supersession of all previous orders and practices, the Government of West Bengal has mandated the singing of National Song of Bharat - Vande Mataram, during School Assembly Prayers before commencement of Classes in all Schools under the School Education Department across West Bengal, effective immediately.

This move will snatch away OBC status from 75 Muslim communities who were rightfully included after years of backwardness.

It is alarming to see an elected official openly challenge the Constitution. I hope the Supreme Court takes cognizance of these remarks to ensure the law is upheld. Public servants are elected to serve everyone in their constituency, not just a specific religious group. The judiciary @indSupremeCourt must step in to provide the necessary course correction.

पश्चिम बंगाल में भाजपा के विधायक जिसको अब भाजपा ने मुख्यमंत्री बनाया है, सुवेंदु अधिकारी कह रहे थे कि वो मुसलमानों के लिए काम नहीं करेंगे, ये ग़ैर संवैधानिक है। एक बार जब आप जन प्रतिनिधि के रूप में चुने जाते हैं तो सबके लिए काम करना होता है। जो मनोज अग्रवाल ने वोटर लिस्ट से वोटरों के नाम काट कर भाजपा की मदद उसको भाजपा ने मुख्य सचिव बनाया है। भाजपा जवाब दे इन सवालों का।

मै सभी ब्राह्मणों क्षत्रिय सवर्ण समाज से पूछना चाहता हूं जो @yadavakhilesh जी और @samajwadiparty से खफा हैं! क्यों? क्योंकि आपको लगता है अखिलेश जी मुस्लिम समर्थक है ? तो मोदी जी क्या हैं? उन्होंने मुफ्त गैस , ₹ पैसे, और घर मुस्लिमों को नहीं दिए? सबका साथ सबका विकास में सभी शामिल है खुद मोदी ने कहा। क्या सरकारी नौकरी मुस्लिमों को नहीं दी गई? योजना लाभ नहीं दिया गया? वहीं अखिलेश जी भी तो यही कह रहे समाजवाद मतलब सभी की समानता ! फिर मीडिया इसे सिर्फ मुस्लिम यादव क्यों करके दिखाता है? कभी सोचा आपने? ब्राह्मण समाज अखिलेश जी के समय खुश था या योगी जी के समय अब खुश है? क्या बदलाव आ गया? सबसे ज्यादा गुंडागर्दी झेलनी पड़ी है। एक पार्टी के अंध समर्थक बनने से अच्छा है अपना विकल्प बना के रखो और समाजवादी पार्टी से बेहतर विकल्प कोई नहीं है इस समय उत्तर प्रदेश में।
