They always misidentify the cause of the drug crisis as liberal/NDP policy decisions - with bonus points for naming a politician. They never mention the ACTUAL cause: fentanyl in the illicit drug supply (true throughout Canada & the U.S., under both conservative and liberal governments). 3. They film and photograph people in crisis as if they’re viewing animals in the zoo. 4. They fundraise off their exploitative content. Like instead of helping the vulnerable people they’re using for clicks and engagement, they ask viewers to donate to THEM with their “buy me a coffee” link. Im glad that Alberta is trying to bring MAID in line with the UN’s recommendations. And also, I don’t believe that this decision has anything to do with care & compassion for disabled Albertans. The UCP has proven that they do not care how many of us die or become homeless.

"it is very easy to get citizenship" ok? citizenship has nothing to do with immigration and Permanent Resident status, which is MUCH MUCH HARDER TO GET, AND WHICH YOU HAVE TO SUCCEED AT, AND LIVE IN CANADA, BEFORE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP.

This isn't increased fidelity, but an assault on the senses AND an insult on the developers' hard work.

@Tori_TLCR Those van couriers are often paid below competitive rates, often lack some key benefits, and as mentioned, have to cover their own transpo costs with no remuneration to speak of. But yeah, no justifying the shitty attitude, I just kinda get it from their POV.

@Tori_TLCR If he's from a van courier company, then it's probably the likes of West Direct, Send It, Flash Express, Zap, or one of the many others, then yeah I can see this kind of attitude. Newbies tend to get stressed out and take that out on others. WDX makes drivers cover gas (or did).

Well, I just got called a "bitch" by a male courier for *checks notes* saying they need to buzz their customer on the intercom, not ask occupants and staff to open the door. You know, a basic security policy. I absolutely can be a bitch but following a safety policy isn't that.

@Tori_TLCR Was he a bike courier, small van courier, or a truck courier? From my experience, the bike couriers can be mercurial, the small van couriers complacent, and the truck (Purolator, FedEx, UPS, etc.) couriers can often be bitter if they aren't Purolator (better paid).

@Wisdom_Eye didn't even call him out on that when I could have. Buddy was just being lazy and thought he had the right to interrupt another working person instead and got angry at hearing "no". When I said I'm not allowed to let him in. He did get in and make his delivery, when he buzzed.
