In fairness, it was the #AdhocCommittee that first raised concerns about Sarah-Jane Trent’s readiness to proceed, yet she insisted on continuing.
The committee did everything possible to stand down her testimony to another day. MP Nqola led the cautionary intervention, followed by MP Malema, MP James and others, even Adv Mkhize paused proceedings multiple times to check whether Ms Trent was okay to continue.
Now Trent claims that everyone was aggressive and that she was humiliated.
We were all watching, mos… what exactly is she smoking? 🤔

@WesternPulse88 @CyrilRamaphosa Anyone born here—at home, in a clinic, anywhere—is South African, regardless of race. While Afrikaners led the injustices of apartheid, many feel the governing party has also fallen short of the trust placed in it over the past 30+ years.✌️🌈 🇿🇦

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA. @CyrilRamaphosa
Greetings from the Bushveld.
Sir, it is with great concern that I frequently notice that you and your party, the ANC, negatively refer to white people as if we do not belong in South Africa and are responsible for every failure of your government.
Please let me reintroduce ourselves.
We are an easy people, but not easy to tangle with.
We are soft hearted, but with a hard core.
We laugh easily, but know when to stop laughing. Humor is our way to handle crises, but we should not be pushed to lose our sense thereof.
We are peace loving, as you have seen in 1994, when we chose the path of sharing and not fighting, although we have this tendency to push back when the need arises. Please refer to the Xhosas, Zulus, English, Cubans, SWAPO, FAPLA etc.
We came here to stay and even took the name of Africa to refer to ourselves as "Afrikaners". We are not going anywhere. We even speak Afrikaans.
We have this word in Afrikaans: "Beneuk", which refers to a cantankerous bull or horse. Although we are easy going, we could also become beneuk.
You may see us as soft targets, but we are the most resilient people on the face of the earth. Please see what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and generals Patton and Montgomery had to say about this.
We are God-fearing, but are also Christian soldiers.
So, please sir, stop blaming us for your mistakes. Own up to your own failures. Take our willing hands to help rebuild the land and the economy.
Or leave us alone.
Strongs with Phala-Phala, which is waiting for you.
Flippie van die Bosveld.

@DasenThathiah @eNCA His insults should be addressed through a formal written apology—not another message. This is still an insult 😤

@HalalaCele @lindz_malindz Proud father of 3 and a grandfather. I matriculated in ’93 from an elite KZN school, went to varsity, built multinational businesses—and ended up hiring some former classmates of mine and my kids.
English

@WiseInsightSA @lindz_malindz This is not even an argument. You are talking about a life I live and experience daily. I have 2 teenage boys who go to one of the schools I mentioned. Wena, just stop making baseless shit up. 🤡

@pallnandi 🤞. The best school is life itself—especially for those with open eyes and open minds. Sadly, many ignore its free lessons and then blame the devil for their own poor choices.

[BREAKING NEWS]
ANC in North West Hit by Vehicle Repossessions Amid Financial Crisis‼️‼️‼️
The ANC in the North West is facing deepening financial turmoil, as reports confirm that several of its vehicles and furniture have been repossessed due to non-payment.
This development comes amid ongoing concerns over the party’s failure to meet its financial obligations, from unpaid staff salaries to neglected assets.
A governing party that cannot manage its own finances cannot be trusted to manage public resources.

@HalalaCele @lindz_malindz I’m also speaking from social and professional experience as a product of these expensive schools. Most of my former classmates—both Black and white—never went to university. They ended up at Makro or in family businesses they couldn’t manage, and today they’re struggling.

@WiseInsightSA @lindz_malindz What you’re saying is not true. My kids and most of my friend’s kids go to either, St Stithians, St John’s, St. Mary’s & Roedean. All our kids are doing extremely well academically with an average of 70% minimum. One child is currently doing medicine at UKZN and another is at UCT

Jacqui Uys, former Tshwane Finance MMC has made a submission to the Madlanga Commission.
She has submitted evidence linking security contracts to water tanker tenders.
Her dossier to the Commission goes much further to help connect the dots on evidence already before the Commission.
She names certain politicians who are implicated.
South Africans deserve the truth.
