There are two types of pubs: 1. Pubs that store bags of crisps in the wholesale boxes they arrived in, stacked behind the bar. The bags are pulled from roughly cut holes in the box ends. Flavours might include cheese and onion or prawn cocktail. The bags have a shiny finish. 2. Pubs that display bags of crisps in a small wicker basket on the bar. Flavours might include chorizo & red pepper or thyme & rosemary. The bags have a matte finish. When you buy them you’ll think “how much?!”

Anon post: How do schools account for tea and coffee expenses for staff within the budget? We've been informed that auditors won’t approve it—has anyone found a legitimate way to include it?

@kateowbridge Christmas baking is the best…until my online shopper decided that mixed herbs were a suitable replacement for mixed spice

Today we put the bedroom back together - looks so good. I had a back neck & shoulder massage. Then I shopped at Asda for my Christmas baking tomorrow, put the fruit to soak in brandy, made dinner & had a glass of wine. Tomorrow is an early morning swim then a full on baking day.

Anon post: Facing potential staff restructuring. Desperate to avoid job losses. Has anyone found ways to increase income or secure funding to prevent restructuring? Any advice or success stories would be hugely appreciated.

@dave_mcpartlin @kjagger05 Joyful! We opened ours last September. Had building work over summer to double the intake so have a new cohort starting Monday. Like you, we could have filled ours twice over. It’ll have a huge impact on stat data in future…but I’d fight anyone that has bad to say about that

We opened 2 SEN units this week (decided to open additional one with 2 days left of last term🥴) & was a proud moment for us all. Felt v. emotional welcoming our new kids & families - well done & thank you @kjagger05 & team, your hard work has been worth it, you did a good thing.
